Seiwa Tokonole Leather Finish Burnishing Gum Clear Leathercraft (120g)

A little goes a long way and it works like a champ for powered or hand burnishing.

Ive been using water, beeswax and scrap canvas (which works very well) but that can be a lot of work and sometimes the edges dont stay burnished. Tokonole burnishing gum isnt going to replace that completely-- I experimented using it with canvas instead of wood burnishers-- but so far the results are gorgeous, and what was burnished with Tokonole seems to stay burnished. And my, its fast! Burnishing is done by appearance and feel, this product cut my slicking time in half. Wooden and canvas slicking methods both worked great, nice glossy edges. Definitely good stuff.

This is an AMAZING product. I not only use it to for the edges but also on the fuzzy side of leather when its unfinished.

Im using it to simply seal the tooling leather and help with burnishing. Im gonna have to share because a very little goes a long ways and there is no way I can use that much in 1 year. Container came double sealed so the contents dont spill. It had a plastic tight wrap that went around the whole container, then another plastic baggie that the container was taped inside of. No leaks here.
