> 3 dayBecause I had no issues with my Sengled Wifi Bulbs, I gave these a go. When I plugged them in and opened the Sengled Bluetooth app. I was able to find my device without issue but as soon as it was paired it immediately said not connected. Tried this process multiple times with multiple sengled plugs. Results were same.

Greater than one weekI bought these plugs because I wanted ones that didnt need its own app but would connect directly with Alexa. The first plug worked fine but Alexa does not recognize or discover the remaining three plugs. Troubleshooting suggests downloading the Sengled app. Well, thats exactly what I didnt want to do. So unless I can still return them, theyre going to the garbage.

> 3 dayI bought this set of 4 Sengled Smart Plug Bluetooth Meshs to add to my existing Sengled Smart Hub that is already integrated with my Alexa over wifi. Since I have a few dozen Sengled wifi bulbs and wifi-plugs, the smaller form-factor seemed more useful. However, after they arrived and I couldnt add them to the Sengled Hub nor to my Alexa running on wifi on my Facebook Portal, I learned that this product does not support connections to the Sengled hub, and because it is connected by Bluetooth, it is not supported with my Alexa on my Portal over wifi. This was a big disappointment, very frustrating and a huge waste of several hours of my time, and buyers beware of the limitation that they can only be used with an Alexa with Bluetooth like the Echo Dot. In my case, a mis-advertised product with very poor documentation and very poor support, and not recommended at all. Im returning mine.

> 3 dayLike the title says… skip these with every fiber of your being. Initial set up was a breeze. Just plugged them in and my Echo Dot and Alexa found them and added them. Success!!! Ok let’s test them… they worked. They turned the Christmas tree and other lights on and off on command. I’m king of the world!!! I can go to bed now. The next morning, I proudly have my wife try. She’s going to love it and bestow many displays of affection on me. It doesn’t work.. IT DOESN’T F@&@NG WORK. I try.. nothing. I turn them on and off manually, try to re-pair them, delete them from the profile and try again. No Alexa isn’t even seeing them. No displays of affection for me, no automated lights. Sadness settles in. In the end, the only thing that brought happiness was sending them back. Oh, if you read this far, don’t buy them. They don’t work!!!!

> 3 dayI have always been wary of the connectivity of these items, having lost money in the past, but with this one, it has worked perfectly. when the electric power goes out and come back on, it doesnt trip.

> 3 dayOpened up the Alexa app and searched for devices and there they were ready to go. Super easy to deal with and much easier than using an app and linking to Alexa like many other brands.

> 3 dayThese plugs work ok … when they work. I bought a four-pack. I wanted to connect two lights, one in each bedroom and thought having a couple extra for future use was a good idea. Turned out, I needed the extras now. Plugged them in and waited for Alexa to find them. The first plug I tried wouldnt connect to either of the lights at all. Just failed out of the box. The next two are ok--sort of. One works fine all the time. The other not so much. It frequently wont connect. Tried in both rooms with similar outcomes. At first, I attributed the sporadic function to some sort of interference with the Christmas lights plugged in the same outlet. Then Christmas was over, and lights put away, but the plug still functioned intermittently. Then I thought it might be a line of sight issue. Nope. Most annoying, because itll work function fine, then ten minutes later say the lamp isnt responding. Very odd....and annoying. I havent yet tried the fourth plug. I have to say that my first smart plug was an Amazon plug for my living room and it has never failed to function, even though the plug is about 25ft away from Alexa. These Sengled plugs are only a 1-2 feet from the lights. So now it’s a year later and both plugs never improved. Still intermittent.

> 3 dayPoor Alexa integration. Box and advertisement state your echo can recognize these, but that’s only after using the manufacturer’s app and downloading the manufacturer’s skill to your echo. Couldn’t get them to pair, dealt with Amazon customer service- a whole hassle not worth it. Check the reviews for the app and the skill… you’re better off paying more for the Amazon brand that connect directly with your echo.
