Idk hard to set up

After hours online with tech support from Amazon, a solution to why the plugs dont work with Alexa could not be found, it seems that an update has rendered the function useless, another gripe I have about this item is that a second application has to be downloaded, called Sengled Ble Mesh, it does interact with the regular Sengled app and has to be used on its own separately, and whats worse is that it works only on a single device, so if you have multiple people in the household or multiple devices only device can control it. I am terrible dispapointed in Sengled for this, I do not recommend this plugs at all, and will be returning the ones I bought.

Works as advertised but once you set it up with one cellphone you can’t detect it and connect with another.

I wanted to love these plugs, and for the first week, I did, but then something happened to Sengled and their entire system went down for hours. Since then, there has been nothing but issues. My formerly known as plugs are now showing as switches in my Alexa app and are not staying connected, which is also off because they have disappeared completely from my Sengled app and will not repair. In fact, they will not go back into pair mode at all. Like I said, I wanted to love them, but Sengled lost a customer here. I contacted them for help and they did not reply to my email. I got the generic, “we are busy; figure it out for yourself online,” type of response, so I packaged them up and sent them back today. I hope I have better luck going bank to the Amazon brand plugs.

When I first received the 4 pack of smart plugs (outlets) 1 was broken. I dismissed it as I only needed 2. They stopped working in 6 months. I cant pair again, cant connect to Alexa, cant access my account. Totally pissed off after 3 weeks of trying. Other Sengled products are responding to wrong names. Nightmare. I have 9 plugs and a bulb adapter. Bulb responds to other names, 4 other plugs are working. All Sengled. All going into garbage. TOTALLY fed up.

Ive used several of these, mainly during Christmas to turn on outside lights and Christmas tree. I also had to replace another brands switch that went down. So far Ive been very pleased.

Hard for the old lady to use got one on to my phone and the other one quite working

had some off-brand smart plugs but they kept going offline. These are great and work perfectly with my Amazon Echo/ Alexa. Highly recommend

I had purchased another brand of plugs that said they worked with Amazon Echos. I could not get them set up. Ordered these - and Wow! Plugged one in and said discover devices and within a minute or so, it was ready to go. I have actually set up two of the four that I ordered and both were super easy. Now, its only been two days so dont know how long they will last, but they are good for now. At least for now would definitely recommend these if you want fast setup. Oh, and when you are asked what brand of plug, just hit other.

Like everybody else my bluetooth mesh effing garbage from sengled stopped working and will no longer work . This company should go bankrupt. DO NOT PURCHASE SENGLED TRASH. It will work fine then as others have stated, you will be dead before it ever works again. And shame on amazon for pushing known hack crap on your customers. Eff you SENGLED!
