> 3 dayI got the Sennheiser HD 600s three months ago and I use them almost every day, mainly listening to classical music. Before I decided to buy I tried to find out if the 600 would be significantly better than my old but in excellent condition Sennheiser 424s. I found little online with the exception of a single comment on Amazon which in the end inspired me to plunk down my money. In this review Ill comment on the HD 600s and compare them to the 424s (just in case theres anyone out there who is in the same place I was).

> 3 dayI was skeptical before my purchase regarding the quality and look as it was open box. But, now I think its the best purchase I have made till now. I am in love with this headphone and it has surpassed my expectations.

> 3 dayIf you like music, especially instrumentals / vocals you will love these. If you have never had a solid pair of headphones, you will love these. I personally believe anyone who enjoys music, should have a pair of good headphones like these.

> 3 dayThese headphones sounded very good with linear sound and excellent detail. Unfortunately, the left cannel would intermittently drop out. I would have to wiggle the plug at the earpiece to get it to work.

> 3 dayIf you dont have a headphone amp then dont worry, these sound great without one and even better with one.

> 3 dayOne of the best headphones out there. I ditched HD800 because it was too bright. This is a very good balance for music with singers instead of pure instruments

> 3 dayI own these, Grado SR325s and AKG K712s. All similarly priced open back headphones and all purchased through Amazon. I have tried all 3 with digital and analog sources and with old fashioned MOSFET amplification as well as modern Op-Amp amplification. Compared to the Grado and AKG counterparts, I do not prefer the sound of these. The most distinct area these are lacking is in the treble, which lacks the clarity of the AKGs or smoothness of the Grados. They are however built sturdily and quite comfortable, especially compared to the Grados. Thus the Its okay. 3 star rating.

> 3 dayBest headphones, or cans, I have ever owned. I used to use Beats studio 2.0’s for the past 5 years for music/gaming. These do not compare.
