> 3 daySo I first bought this back in February 2020. It worked like a beast until November 2022, when it took an accidental tumble down my stairs and the hose literally split and popped beyond repair. I was sad. So I bought a new one, which was much harder to find, but find one I did! I kept the old ones canister and attachments to have extras on hand. Now for my review: It is the best vacuum Ive owned that gets up pet hair. I have one double-coated dog and three cats that seem to never stop shedding. It has excellent suction and picks up more than any other vacuum Ive owned. Its still kind of bulky clunky when detaching to clean stairs, but it still works - you just have to put in effort. The con of this vacuum other than not being invincible against stair tumbling - its so top heavy that it rarely will stand up by itself like most upright vacuums. It just falls over - while you are vacuuming with the hose and while storing it. I have to lean it in my cleaning closet so it doesnt fall over. Thats my only complaint with it.

> 3 dayI do like this product for variable, like I can take part off and carry portable as need to be like vacuum on the stair and inside of my bed/water bed (I tried to clean so no bed bug there), but little issues is that try to get all part connect to get power smoothly is little difficult and brush roller is at first difficult to get rolling while vacuum, so there is kind of control on handle hose turn, to make brush roller working properly but its get good job, and very powerful suck it up. Only downside, is no headlight as few vacuum design had those, great when vacuum in dark area where light cant reach under stuff or hiding or stair in basement and taking part off and back in as need, make me wonder if it strong or weak design in long term. but I had those for first day and glad its variable and powerful vacuum, but design is question when take all part together and do normal vacuum to get that brush roller working. Its good yet I dont know how good it endurance is and petty much its cost lot to me, depend on who and how much person earning income. But I had no choice due bed bug bite, my other cheap vacuum isnt good so I brought it for fighting war on bed bug bite in long terms (I know heat stuff, but its simple too much money and not work as bed bug hide in wall that keep them safe from heat, and fleeing once room got hot, possible risk damage or melt my stuff (if I remove it, what point, I want to make sure everything bed bug touch got destroyed but they are very sneaking and small, to next room and I cant afford money like that so I am hopeful MGK 1852 Crossfire Concentrate will get all those bed bug get destroyed. I think its worse than tick and mosquito, its easier to combat tick and mosquito like eating raw gartic, but may not work on bed bug and where my skin got itchy for almost week now where mosquito and tick is less than a couple hours. Thank you for reading my review post, Im appreciated it.

04-01-2025We have 3 cats and one is a longhaired big boy. This vacuum gets all of his cat hair thats been sitting on our carpeted stairs. Its amazing how much hair was just stuck to our carpet that we couldnt even see because the carpet and the cat fur are grey! The canister is easy to empty and holds a lot. The vacuum is easy to maneuver and swivels well. I didnt think the vacuum was heavy, it seems to be similar in weight to my old Bissell upright. I would buy this again and recommend it to anybody else looking for a good vacuum at a great price.

> 3 dayVacuumed a carpet that had been vacuumed before. The amount of dirt it picked up was amazing. Wish the dust cup was easier to clean.

> 3 dayThis is a great, powerful vacuum. It cleans up most detritus at one pass and is great for wall-to-wall carpet areas or spaces covered by heavy area rugs. It is, however, pretty heavy, and the powerful suction means that it takes a little muscle to move it across the carpet. It would not be ideal for a space with lighter weight rugs because the tilt feature is pretty low to the ground, so if you want to hold the end with your foot and sweep one way to the end of a rug, then tilt, roll back, and bring the vacuum back up the rug again (no contact so the rug wont be pulled up), this involves bending way down. If you want a powerful vacuum with a large capacity canister, this is the vacuum for you. If you want a vacuum thats lightweight and moves easily across your pile carpet, look at some of the other highly rated Shark models. Think, too, about whether you want a disposable bag or a canister. Theoretically, canisters can fill to capacity. In reality, after youve done a room or two, the suction diminishes, and you need to dump out what youve collected. Bags have the disadvantage of seeming to run out just when companys coming, but they do hold a lot more and allow you to vacuum for weeks without changing if you dont have pets(!)

Greater than one weekThis has been an excellent vacuum for me the HEPA filtration is a big plus as i live out in the middle of the desert where dust is a way of life Ha ! The suction is great and its easy to use and maintain. I recently retired my old Shark Navigator model 42 that i bought in 2014 i never had one problem with it shes just totally worn out ! Thank You

Greater than one weekThe suction was great and for most that would be an advantage, but I need something that will glide easier.
