> 24 hourI remember when this type of storage was so expensive, and when these drives were shipped; Amazon would put them in big over-sized boxes. There would be air bags in there to protect the drives. Now that the price of 3D Nand has dropped, Amazon just ships these in flimsy plastic bags. These drives are susceptible to bend stress when packaged this way. Also, this brand initial packaging is very light. I bought a Samsung EVO drive of the same capacity, and it was packaged more securely. Besides that issue, these drives are great for quick budget builds, or if you want to add fast cheap storage to an external M.2 enclosure. I am going to use this to upgrade my sons current gaming PC. He will be upgraded to a Ryzen 5 2600X on a ASUS Prime B450M-A II motherboard, with 16 Gigs of DDR4 running at 3200 Mhz. His current M.2 is a 256 Gig drive.

> 24 hourI use this drive as a secondary drive in my desktop, and I use it in my laptop. It works great! It runs cool, but I recommend keeping laptop fans on for extended use.

> 24 hourGood speed I just slap windows on it and use sata for other stuff. I would only recommend it to hold windows and drivers.

> 24 hourTheres nothing wrong with it, faster than sata 3 for reads/writes , but their slightly more expensive P34A80 (Gen3) has a lot better read / write performance. like $3 on a 512 , Its worth for an OS Drive.

> 24 hourThe 512GB A60 drive surprised me considering the cost. Using CrystalDiskMark, I got the following scores: SEQ1M Q8T1 - 2417 MB/s read, 1184 MB/s write SEQ1M Q1T1 - 1986 MB/s read, 1183 MB/s write RND4K Q32T1 - 297 MB/s read, 358 MB/s write RND4K Q1T1 - 48 MB/s read, 184 MB/s write This was achieved without using a heatsink on the M.2, with 5 passes of a 1GB file in CrystalDiskMark. The drive performs significantly better at sequential reads than seq. writes, while also performing better at random writes compared to reads. As long as the device stands the test of time, it is an excellent bargain purchase, exceeding its advertised read speed (albeit falling a bit short of its advertised write speeds). I will update this review if the drive fails prematurely.
