> 3 daymy first hard drive started to crash after 3 weeks of use, the 2nd one has crashed 5 times in 15 minutes. To get one bad one I understand, but to get 2, going to return and go back to an ssd drive.

> 3 dayWanted something to put in my gaming laptop that ran cooler than my last SSD to keep temps down. Replaced it and noticed an immediate difference in GPU running temp under low/medium load. Would definitely spend the extra dollars again.

> 3 dayI got this as internal storage for myself, and used it as the sole drive on a new build as well. It works wonderfully. Fast, and reliable.

> 3 dayIn addition to SK Hynix apparently selling drives as new that had been returned (prior purchaser had very carefully switched labels on drives that I didnt notice it until installed and BIOS reported drive was Samsung), downloading their SSD drive tools is not possible because SSD.Hynix.com has download speeds I haven’t seen since dialup modems. Download consistent times out at 12MB downloaded.

18-12-2024I first purchased a Samsung 970 EVO Plus because I used to have an 860 and I recall that Samsung had their custom drivers and software that actually upgrades the firmware for better performance (unlike most other brands...) - until I decided to do one last search before I sealed the deal!

> 3 dayThis product is exactly what you get. No fake, no poor quality. Unfortunately I had to return because I needed an external hard drive but 10/10 for those who are thinking of getting it and fast shipping as well!

> 3 dayBought this for additional storage to be used solely for PC gaming on my Lenovo computer. Its last gen (gen 3) but when I bought it gen 4 stuff was pretty hard to come by and far more expensive. For the money it has been totally worth it. I have played Skyrim...with mods...and recently Halo Infinite and load times are quick. I decided against a heatsink after watching a few videos where they tested and felt that it wasnt really necessary, I believe because last gen tech doesnt run as hot. Plus, my Lenovo has lots of mesh, 2 intakes fans, and 2 exhaust fans and is located in an open air space. Ive never had any freezes due to overheating so it appears to be fine.
