16-12-2024I decided to install this in my Dell XPS 9370. It was feeling a little slow on the stock SSD after four years of use. Even after a fresh install of Windows it was still feeling slow. Because of this I decided to look for an upgraded drive. After a lot of research I settled on this drive due to the performance, low power consumption, and price. After installing this SSD my laptop felt like new. Boot time is so much faster and everything is so much more responsive. I’d recommend this drive as an upgrade in your laptop or as a boot drive in your multi drive PC. If you device does support faster NVME standards than it may be worth it to upgrade to the new platinum series from SK Hynix but otherwise this drive is great.

Greater than one weekI couldnt afford a PCIe Gen4 SSD, so I settled for a PCIe Gen3. Its fast enough as a casual computer user.

Greater than one weekI installed this in my over 6 1/2 year old home-made Windows 10 machine and was quite surprised. I had to buy a $13 PCI adapter since my old motherboard didnt support this technology, but it worked like a charm. I am just using it so far for Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 and the game runs so much faster now. Performance of this NVMe is up to 7x my old SSD from Samsung. Hope this is reliable as well.

Greater than one weekUsed this for all my drivers and my OS and everything boots and runs within seconds. No more waiting 1-3 minutes for it to boot off of a 3.5

Greater than one weekThis is the final word on whether or not SK HYNIX NVME will work on the Mac Pro 5,1. I have 3 of them working right now. The 2tb came with the updated firmware. The other sizes, you will need to download the firmware from the manufacturer. Im getting 6,000 read/write speed using a HighPoint SSD7101-A with a 3 count.

> 3 dayI like that the company cares enough to use biodegradable packaging and create low power devices that are still high quality. The drive is fast and worked great to replace the factory drive in my Alienware M15.
