> 3 dayEvery once in a while, well tell Alexa to turn off a light and she cant find it. We end up powering it down manually and then re-starting it and Alexa is fine after that. On the whole, though, they work. Weve been able to automate most of the lights in our living space with these plugs or smart bulbs. Were pretty pleased except for the occasional Alexa brain fart. UPDATE: its been a month since we ordered these and theyre not working properly. Weve tried turning them off and on, re-synching them with Alexa, and they just wont cooperate. Were returning them.

Greater than one weekI consider myself a tech capable person & after following the directions carefully, attempting over and over I was unable to get these to work. Side note- the directions are understandable even though they are not perfectly translated. Not sure if the set I received were defective but I think I’ll try a different brand.

Greater than one weekThey had worked flawlessly since Dec 2019, but when we switched from Xfinity to ATT Wireless this week (May 2022) they could not be reconnected despite following the Teckin procedures. Like other reviewers we used them for Christmas lights and lamps. Downloading the Smart Life app was easy and connecting each smart plug to the network went well. The plugs were recognized by Alexa and their use was well integrated in our home, with schedules for auto on and off.

> 3 dayI found these smart plugs easier to set up. It took three to five minutes to set up. Compared to the previous smart plugs I ordered 3 yrs ago. App works great to turn off or on remotely.

> 3 dayHad these prior and they were great. Then they stopped working. Ordered new ones so they would all work on the same app and these dont pair at all. None of the troubleshooting worked, and I had to add a new app. Tried to pair with both apps, and neither worked. Cannot return as we were under construction so they sat in a box for awhile until after return date. Not a huge investment, but what a pain. Will throw them all away, and start again with the whole house with another brand so they all will work on the same app and hopefully better quality.

> 3 dayWe couldnt get these plugs to stay connected to the app despite updates, reinstalling etc. It would upair and totally remove the device. These were returned within hours of receiving, they were that bad.

> 3 dayLiars. Does not work on 5gb wifi. Waste if money and time. Somebody needs to make smart plugs that are smart. 1 star is too high for rating purposes.

21-12-2024Setup instructions are confusing. I can usually set up things like this in a few minutes. I gave up after much longer.

> 3 dayI fine these to be perfect for remote management and scheduling of lights, and if desired, small appliances. They were perfect for my Xmas window candles and tree to schedule on and off times simultaneously. We use them to control lights in our summer cottage, and when we are there, our home residence. I put one in the line to our FIOS DVR in the cottage should it require a reboot to resolve connection issues. It is used to record shows in preparation for our stays, but if there are technical problems where they tell you to reboot the dvr, good luck if you are a hundred miles away. The only shortcoming is the user interface, which works fine, but needs more user control, such as easy manual sorting and grouping.
