Plug it in, open the Smart Life app, a pop up will ask if you want to connect a new device, click accept, and done. This is how all smart devices should connect.

This device did not incorporate the voice command with my Google Mini and the applications on my phone. I know how this technology works, its not rocket science. I downloaded the device app, linked it to the Google Assistant and Home apps, I even saw the names I assigned to the plugs from the parent app. The darn thing just wouldnt accept the voice command sent to the Mini device. The Amazon customer service person was nice, but wanted me to go through half a dozen steps to troubleshoot the problem. I chose to send it back and try something different.

Only one of them worked out of the set of 2 I received. Couldnt get the second one to activate or connect to Internet. Now its just sitting in my house not doing anything. Sucks! But the other plus works great!

These work well with my alexa, Ive had them installed for a couple weeks. Installation was a little tricky going between all the different apps, but I was able to figure it out. My biggest complaint with these is all of the sudden they just turn the lights on randomly, which isnt good - especially considering the price of electricity. Yesterday I had to tell alexa to turn them of 3 or 4 times randomly throughout the day

Got this to try and control the outlet in a bathroom with a schedule to save electricity. The app is unbelievably clunky and fussy. It took me 8 tries to connect the outlets to it. After that it took forever and a day to get a schedule set up. After that, it ran for one day then half the outlets went offline. Troubleshooting was totally useless so after all this silly hassle, I’m returning them. Try something else.

Well I purchased these back in 2022 and they worked great no problems. I thought I finally found a smart plug that worked. Fast forward 2023 I needed to upgrade and am now using 5g and it seems these smart plugs arent so smart they dont work using 5g I tried to connect them and no dice they dont work POS. So back to the drawing board might as well go back to manual timers there the easiest......

Both of the units I received do not work as smart outlets. I tried connecting each of them via the SmartLife app and Gosund app. I was connected to the correct network and using the correct login credentials, but each attempt to add the devices failed. Seems like many people have had success with these, I guess you will just need to test them while they are still within the return window in case you get defective units.
