> 3 dayRunning the lite and non-lite model all over the home. All models running Tasmota and integrated with Home Assistant. Very easy process, works great.

Greater than one weekI accidentally ordered this version (the lite, which doesnt include energy monitoring) but was still much more convenient than than sonoff basic normal use due to the integrated plug. PLUS tasmota is still easy to install

> 3 dayThese little units worked just like I wanted them to. We connected them to our Christmas lights all throughout the house and then controlled them natively via our Google Nest Mini.

> 3 dayFairly easy to tear apart, solder wires between your FTDI, and flash. No app required, MQTT and away you go. I bought a slew of these to replace the Etekcity branded VSync switches I had. We had an internet outage that lasted about a week and NONE of my automations worked, so I bit the bullet and moved as many of my switches over to something that didnt require internet access to function. Home Assistant and MQTT with Tasmota for the win.

> 3 dayUse caution when ordering these. I didn’t realize there were two versions of the S40 Lite, Zigbee and Wi-Fi. I bought this version by mistake, and while they’re returnable, I don’t have a UPS store near me and Amazon won’t provide a free return label for a pickup. The Wi-Fi version does not seem to be as well supported in home assistant, the add on provided for it only seems to provide a Lovelace card and not a proper device, so as far as I can tell so far it can’t be used in automations. The s40 version also can’t be flashed with alternate firmware, so it’s usability with home assistant is limited.

> 3 dayThe Sonoff product line still works with Tasmota, the programming pins are available and they have not changed microcontrollers like so many of the Tuya based products have. If you only need switching and dont need power monitoring the S31 Lite switches work just fine.
