> 24 hourI am trying this out in one of my older laptops. Very affordable and practical. It is 2 to in size which replaced my spinningv2tb drive with it. If the quality is good I will replace others with it as well.

> 24 hourI put the SSD into my Xbox 360. The drive fits into the plastic case that then attaches to the side of the console. I installed a reset glitch hack onto this console a while back. So now I have more storage and everything loads very fast. Makes absolutely no noise. The disc drives on these old consoles are going bad more and more over time so Im happy that I can backup my game discs onto the SSD. I just wanted to post this review for anybody wondering if the SSD will work in an RGH. It does. You just put it in and go to the dashboard and hit format. My console is a 2009 jasper. You dont really need an SSD for the 360 but the price was good. Photo is the drive showing up on aurora dashboard. If you dont have an RGH/JTAG you need to use the Microsoft brand drives.

> 24 hourJust got and tested it with CrystalDiskMark8 using an external $10 USB3.0 adapter. Testing again after installing internally in a late 2015 iMAC and after writing over 3TBs to it during several cloning/installation procedures. So far so good.

> 24 hourSo far Ive used several Silicon Power SSD drives in various PCs & laptops. I havent had a bad experience yet & they perform a LOT better & faster than the traditional mechanical drives that theyve replaced. I guess you could buy a better brand, but I dont have any hesitation recommending these Silicon Power SSDs & why spend more money if these work as they should? Im not sure if its a big deal or not, but this 1TB Silicon Power drive has a metal casing while the previous, lower-capacity ones that Ive gotten have a full plastic casing. It looks like, more & more, things are moving towards M.2/NVME drives in computers, but I think these drives are still a good value If you dont want to mess with M.2 & if you have an older computer/laptop that can only support SATA drives.
