Speedball Linoleum Cutter Kit Assortment #1 - Linocut Carving Tools for Block Printing, Includes 5 Blades

> 24 hourI had to take the whole thing apart and put it together again before I could get the blades to stay in. One blade is not cutting at all no matter what I do. Its so dull, it is shredding rather than cutting and its the detail carver so now I cant get into the tiny places on my block at all. Speedball comes with a name and the brand is (or was) always a good purchase. Im afraid I only have one blade that works well and that just doesnt cut it (pun intended).

> 24 houri had no problem using these for linoleum blocks a few years ago in my printmaking class, but almost let the negative reviews here talk me out of buying it... thankfully its as good as i remember. only wish there was an even finer tip

> 24 hourThis is the best set of Lino cutters out there. I have been using Speedball products for over 25 years. The cutter is easy to hold and easy to use. While I am not a beginner, my grandson is. We have a lot of fun cutting, then printing our “masterpieces”!

> 24 hourOnce you get the right tip secured, this works great! The problem I had was that there were no instructions included for how to swap the tips out and secure them. It is just a matter of trial and error which was sometimes a frustrating process. Once the tip was secured, this tool performed as expected and I was very satisfied with its performance.

> 24 hourThis is my second set, as the metal chuck wore out and would no longer hold the blades tightly on my first set. Also, the cap for the storage in the handle often comes unscrewed. It does a fair job and is ok for a beginner, but I feel it would be aggravating for a serious artist.

> 24 hourAfter reading some of the reviews, I inticipated this cutter set to not work that great. But, all the pieces came totally straight and quite sharp, as compared to my similar but no-brand set purchased at an art supply store. For how cheap it is, I cannot complain. Note that Ive only tested this on the softer pink style rubber blocks, not actual linoleum up until this point. But the tools are way sharper than my other kit, which did okay with linoleum.

> 24 hourSuper fast shipping for Uber-sharp tools. Simple, relatively easy to use (if you know what youre doing!) with a wide selection of carving nibs, this is a must have for Art. I bought these for my daughter, who is an AP Art student in high school, and she made the most incredible block print out of a linoleum tile! They didnt teach that to me in high school! She was very pleased with the tool set, so I highly recommend it to you!

> 24 hourBox was a bit crumpled when it arrived- wasnt packages very well. But its a hard plastic tool its durable. That was my only complaint, since I was planning to store it in the box but now it doesnt stay closed.

> 24 hourThese were purchased for my girl scouts to make stamps for letterboxing. The tool is so easy to use. The ease of placing the attachments on the handle are great. Having different sizes for the stamp carving makes it so worth the buy. Highly recommend.
