It may be Stanley but you can tell its ther budget range. Ive had cheaper and better tapes that are alot easier to read.

Very good measure. It feels solid and is easy to read. I am dropping one star for the following reasons: 1. The packaging is stupid. It took a couple of minutes slashing with a knife to detach it from the plastic packaging. 2. It takes a fair amount of force to put the lock on. Once on the lock is solid but I have thought I had locked the measure a couple of times only to find the tape retracting when I move away from the object being measured. Saying that though this is incredible value for money.

Simple and easy to use, with clear markings. Just be careful when letting go of tape which has been extended out since it does wind back quite quickly I reserve the right to revisit and edit this review as appropriate after further testing of this product

This is a sturdy measuring tape. The lock feature is easy to use. My only complaint is the clip at the end. When measuring the clip doesn’t hold onto whatever I’m measuring it just comes off. That’s a pain because I have to have someone hold it down when it’s supposed to hold on it’s on.

Other than that fabulous! Can’t understand why it needs to be this heavy though!

Stanley, best measures in the world for me. However, it is true, I went cheap on this one just because my longer living Stanley broke on me. Price cuts in somewhere of course - if you use a tape measure, say once a month for a few measures, fine. If you are a DIY and sometimes start working where you need a measure twenty or thirty times a day - or just like measuring things - do not get this as it is a brilliant price for a fairly priced piece, but you will feel its lack of quality. It measures, but does not offer a feel of quality or long term strength. However, in my view it should not as it costs far less than it looks - and that is fair compensation.

Very good mid-range tape. Does the job it is meant to, very clear and precise. Had many of these tapes and will continue to use.
