Tap Magic 30004P ProTap Cutting Fluid, 4 oz. Size

man, I snap tiny taps all the time. Because they are tiny almost no force can be applied to them. I have used cutting oils before, but this is the FIRST product whereby I apply it and the tapping gets done quickly and without incident. I bought it after having to drill and tap 303 stainless rod with M3x0.5 threads. Once that alloy has been drilled with a drill press it has already started to work harden, so the tiny tap is a victim before you even start. I had to produce about twenty end-drilled and tapped 6mm rods one afternoon and I snapped off eight taps. I have excellent thread-cutting skills and have been doing this for several decades now. This 303 alloy was new to me and I was doing it wrong, somehow, I guess. I had to waste a lot of linear rod by cutting off the ends because the dang tap was stuck in there. I had been considering your product for some time and that day finally pushed me to order a small bottle. I use it just about every day, to include a lot of this same size/pitch (M3x0.5), and have not snapped a tap or drill bit since. Not a single one in thousands of operations. It is sticky and you have to clean up after you use it, but it smells nice. What is that? Key Lime scent? It smells like pie, man. Nice. I am now a loyal customer. Great product. Highly recommended!

Always used WD40 before. Never again! Way better performance. Cant believe the difference. No comparison.

Second time to purchase. This is good cutting oil. Only problem is keeping up with the cap, which gets lost easily in a shop. This new one arrived without a cap, shame on the distributor. Not worth the trouble to send it back.

This smells much better than 3-in-oil, and works much better too.

I have been using bar and chain oil for years of tapping and threading. Decided to give this a shot after watch a video online that swore by Tap Magic. It is a bit pricey for the quantity but the results are worth it. With bar and chain oil I could get maybe 2 turns of a full bite cut, but with Tap Magic I can go 4 full turns before I back the tap out and clear the hole.

I have used this product since 1972, it always makes cutting and tapping as smooth as can be. I love it and will continue to purchase and use it.

I tried to use this, but the vapors are so nasty, it irritated my eyes and my lungs right away..........I drilled one hole and threw both bottles I purchased into the garbage. Ive used other brands and not had this trouble.

I had to thread stainless rod and this cutting fluid made it goes effortlessly. I had used regular Tap Magic for the same process and it was significantly harder. This Nano Technology magic tap made a world of difference.
