> 3 dayThe standard. I dont know of anything else. My dad started as a machinist 60 years ago and used Tap Magic. We are still using today. Props to Amazon for selling this quality product. The size bottles are nice. You only use a small amount depending on what you are doing.

Greater than one weekI tried to use this, but the vapors are so nasty, it irritated my eyes and my lungs right away..........I drilled one hole and threw both bottles I purchased into the garbage. Ive used other brands and not had this trouble.

> 3 dayIve never used cutting oil in a personal setting before, only, literally, in metal shop back in high school which tells you all you need to know about me lol I decided to use some for this job and my God it worked so well and made things so much easier. I will never again drill metal without it.

> 3 dayman, I snap tiny taps all the time. Because they are tiny almost no force can be applied to them. I have used cutting oils before, but this is the FIRST product whereby I apply it and the tapping gets done quickly and without incident. I bought it after having to drill and tap 303 stainless rod with M3x0.5 threads. Once that alloy has been drilled with a drill press it has already started to work harden, so the tiny tap is a victim before you even start. I had to produce about twenty end-drilled and tapped 6mm rods one afternoon and I snapped off eight taps. I have excellent thread-cutting skills and have been doing this for several decades now. This 303 alloy was new to me and I was doing it wrong, somehow, I guess. I had to waste a lot of linear rod by cutting off the ends because the dang tap was stuck in there. I had been considering your product for some time and that day finally pushed me to order a small bottle. I use it just about every day, to include a lot of this same size/pitch (M3x0.5), and have not snapped a tap or drill bit since. Not a single one in thousands of operations. It is sticky and you have to clean up after you use it, but it smells nice. What is that? Key Lime scent? It smells like pie, man. Nice. I am now a loyal customer. Great product. Highly recommended!
