Targus Laptop Bag Classic Slim Briefcase Messenger Bag, Spacious, Ergonomic, Foam Padded Laptop Case for Devices

At this price point its difficult to fault a Targus product with a (limited) lifetime warranty, and for those who may be wondering, the case was *not* made in China, but in Cambodia (as are newer cases from Case Logic). The zippers run well, and for those who prefer a slim profile, this will do the trick. The only disappointment for me was that the large computer compartment is just that and nothing more. Often a case large enough for a machine with a 15.6 inch display has a separate pocket in that compartment for a tablet. For thin profile machines made in the past 6 years or less, there is plenty of space in the compartment to accommodate a notebook and a tablet back to back. Why Targus chose not to include a tablet pocket is puzzling.¶ I would have preferred a double thickness of padding on the bottom of the case because cases get set down on hard surfaces, usually bottom first, and if they get dropped the bottom of the case often makes contact with the floor or ground first. I may add another foam strip there. [No rating for durability because its new and only time and use will tell how durable it is.]

Super useful to carry your laptop and is slim, light and spacious. Has a shoulder strap and many compartments to put your belongings.

Seems sturdy!

I just received the computer bag, and one element caught my attention immediately. The shoulder strap that comes with the bag has plastic clips that attach to the bag--not metal. I see this as a durability problem. The plastic clips are not going to last as long as metal, and since this bag is to protect ones computer, the idea of a clip giving way, gives me pause. I may replace the shoulder strap. Anyway, it is a nice bag, and I like the extra compartment for materials. I just worry about that strap.

Decent bag for the price, but a few complaints. 1. The clips on the shoulder strap are plastic and dont swivel. So you have to straighten out the strap every time you use it. Concerned they will eventually break. 2. The pad on the shoulder strap sqeeks loudly! Even audible in a busy airport, but even worse walking through a quiet office. 3. Every other back I own(ed) has a divider in the large pocket so I can keep papers separated from the computer. This one doesnt, so papers are getting wrinkled or come out of the bag when I pull the laptop out. Need to start using a folder, which isnt the end of the world. But like I said, every other bag has had an internal divider.

This is the perfect laptop case! Plus the extra pockets for storage are the best!

Well made, Plenty of Room, Easy to handle... I use 1 for my Plane Log Books, 1 for my flight stuff, 1 for Church and have 2 others for miscellaneous what ever... Well made, Hold up well... I cant say it will take a beating because I have not tried to beat it, but very high quality and highly recommend.

Loved it I got everything and more only thing I would say is my computer was too big for the front pocket and the interior should have another sleeve to hold the laptop more securely, it’s only a 16 “ Mac book so if you have a larger one it will fit as it makes mine look tiny in it. Lots of space to stick things and super light weight I got lots of compliments on it as well a great buy

For the priced, this is a 10. No frills or whistles, just a good product in a plain wrapper.
