Amazon product page shows this bag, TCT027, as the 16 bag. When the product arrives, you find out that Targus calls their TCT027 bag the 15.6 bag. The exterior dimensions Targus puts on the product tag (which I have verified as correct) are 16.14x2.36x12.2. For my application, I needed that extra half inch - so ding one star overall. Other than that, for this price point, the bag is exceptionally well constructed. It is made in Cambodia and not China. The shoulder strap anchor D-rings on the bag itself are sewn AND riveted... the webbing handles are box and X stitched. The seams have a bead welt on the exterior face and the interior hems are finished with webbing to cover the raw edges - makes for a bag that is flexible but still holds its shape . The zippers are good quality and operate very smoothly. This bag opens from the top - so, if you slip your laptop in and forget to zip up, it cannot fall out the bottom. Except for the top zipper area, all the rest of the bag feels as if it is padded internally with about 1/4 closed cell foam. The exterior is a nice grade of Cordura-type material and the interior has a grey lining.

This was a gift for someone who started a new job, and it was perfect for his computer and other things.

Im very happy with this purchase. It appears to be well made, durable and will hold my laptop, accessories & passport & other documents in another compartment. Its just what I needed.

I replaced my last laptop shoulder bag, due to it being a cheap product and having a terribly annoying squeaking sound that comes from the shoulder strap latch, when walking. Although this bag is very reasonably priced, the quality and material feel like it should be a good bit more expensive! Its no TUMI, but excellent bag for the price! Would buy again.....and doesnt squeak when I walk!

Replaces my old one which is shredding. Maybe this one will last longer.

Always worked just fine. Hardly any padding but decent for the money. Yesterday the shoulder strap just came undone and it dropped from waist height breaking off a corner of my $1000 computer. Just learned if you want to save something worth a grand, its gonna cost a few bucks.

I used this product to replace a computer bag. The new bag was a little smaller than my previous bag, but I was still pleased.
