Cuts efficiently, and cleanly. Minimal heat generation. Sharp and precise. Update 10/17/2020 This is the second one broken, although cutting speeds and feed rates were well within range. Not sure about the product anymore.

Saved a ton over buying stewmacs overpriced bits. They look and perform equally as well, if not better. A penny saved is a penny earned

Got these to do some detail work on my 3018 Prover and they do seem to work as expected. I have used the 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32 so far and they all cut smoothly. Note I am being extremely conservative on cutting depth and feed rates as Im not ready to test the limits of these, especially the smaller ones. I program to cut the main areas with the larger bits then come back and do increasingly tighter profiles with the smaller bits and it seems to work well. Am cutting on red oak right now and they cut smooth and clean.

I used the 1/16 downcut bits to cut mahogany and maple. The attached pictures show the mahogany, all of which was cut with the 1/16 bit. The maple was largely cut with a 1/8 bit from a different maker, but the small holes in its center were cut with this 1/16 bit. I couldnt be happier with the results. No tearout or chipping at all. I ran the bit at 18,000 RPM and 36 IPM.

... but it broke right at the shank essentially as soon as it touched wood for the first time, before it had a chance to move in the x or y. This was just my experience and I have not used this brand in the past, so maybe it was a one-off thing. With a cutting diameter this small, Im sure there are a lot of breakage issues due to user error with improper feeds and speeds. However, I am probably more conservative on F&S than I need to be, especially with specialty bits like this. So I would need to test a few more to determine where the issue lies. Unfortunately, I dont have any more of these right now, so I may try another brand and see how that goes. I will update this review if I get another one and have a chance to see it in action.

TEMO is our go-to when we need to purchase more CNC bits. They last a long time (as long as you dont screw up and break them, user error!) They are delivered quick. I purchase their 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32.

This bit does what I need it to do. You must be careful to not overload the pressure when cutting.

This is a great set of bits, perfectly graduated for inlay work. The spiral downcut leaves a beautifully smooth bottom & Plunges like butter. These are solid carbide bits and work best at high speed with a slow feed rate. I have paid $30 for a single bit, so this set is a real value.

These are great bits. Just remember the rules of routing with fine bits. 1. Never cut deeper then the diameter of the cutter. The cutter not the shaft. 2. Dont move faster then the cutter can cut. If you violate these rules then fine detail bits of any brand will break.

I purchased two of these bits and both of them broke just after a couple of uses.
