Junky bit. Get what you paid for, I guess.

Got these to do some detail work on my 3018 Prover and they do seem to work as expected. I have used the 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32 so far and they all cut smoothly. Note I am being extremely conservative on cutting depth and feed rates as Im not ready to test the limits of these, especially the smaller ones. I program to cut the main areas with the larger bits then come back and do increasingly tighter profiles with the smaller bits and it seems to work well. Am cutting on red oak right now and they cut smooth and clean.

I ordered three of these bits given their price and that I mill a lot of items so its understandable I can go through them quickly. Unfortunately, I feel I broke a record by breaking all 3 within 24 hours of them being delivered. 2 broke almost immediately during milling jobs while one was able to actually complete a job, but it eventually broke immediately on the following job. I am cutting exotic wood species and actually had success with these very same bits and had one that lasted me for about half a year. I am very careful with my equipment and I tend to configure jobs to run at a more cautious level, but even those parameters are too intense for these week bits. These are the most unreliable mills I have ever used. I will be demanding a refund for these weak, faulty products. Do not order these!

These work great. I use these on my Shapeoko cnc on wood signs and I’ve yet to wear one out.

wish I would have paid more attention to how short the cutting area was

Cuts efficiently, and cleanly. Minimal heat generation. Sharp and precise. Update 10/17/2020 This is the second one broken, although cutting speeds and feed rates were well within range. Not sure about the product anymore.

Great Bit!!! For the money you can’t beat it. You have to be mindful of DOC and feed rates but it’s a 1/16” bit. I bought two more

I use these bits on an X-Carve. The’ve been more durable than the 1/32 bits from Inventables.

This bit does what I need it to do. You must be careful to not overload the pressure when cutting.
