> 3 dayI was amazed at how this movie made me reflect on my own life. It addresses the realness of God, the son & the holy ghost. It addresses forgiveness and makes you look at how important it is. I cried all the way thru this movie. Have tissues ready.

> 3 dayIt’s always wonderful to watch a movie about God, and this movie was made fabulously well. A beautiful faith journey that the whole family will love. Not many movies depict the Trinity, but The Shack does.

> 3 dayThis movie is surprisingly relevant to me in many ways. It caused me to question my perspective and take a closer look at my belief system. Inspiring and creative. For anyone who has lost a loved one and questioned God there will be tears of sadness and tears of joy. If you long to live a joyful life and have a deep sadness I pray for God to bring you healing and joy through forgiveness and a nearer walk with Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Shack is a story of Gods desire to love and be His children.

> 3 dayI read The Shack a few years ago but just wasnt ready to work through it/accept the whole version of God & pain & forgiveness. Watched the movie on Pure Flix a few months ago & it really pierced my heart. Im reading the book again & will undoubtedly watch this DVD again. Religious concepts that were pounded into my head as a child made everything related to God about His wrath, about Him being this unreachable force who was ready & willing to smite me whenever I mess up. While I was introduced to a real & loving God in my early adulthood, I never really felt like, well, like He actually cared/cares. This movie has opened up a new outlook for me - given me I believe a more accurate view of Jesus & God & the Spirit - & genuine Divine love. Very glad to have been reintroduced to Papa. Looking forward to getting to know Him better.

Simply the stats...
> 3 dayThere are some hokey parts, but the subject matter dealing with forgiveness is very real. Forgiveness is for you, not the offending person. If you struggle understanding this, this may help you.

> 3 dayI was suggested to read this book. I started to read the first four chapters and I had to put it down. I couldnt go any further. The anguish was too great for me. After a couple of days I picked it up again and paragraph by paragraph stepped through the anguish the father was experiencing. On his journey he makes a decision that puts him in touch with people who really changes his life and feeling of so much anger, hatred and getting even with the cause of the recent past. The book puts word pictures in your mind which makes the book much more understanding than the movie. The descriptions of the surroundings actions of what is going on with the people he met, makes him confused at first. All of this is going to come together later on. One is the doing the cooking at the Shack, one is working in a shed, working on a wood project and the other is working in the garden. The garden is a mess but she asks him (the father) to help her with a project she is working on. They finish their work and the soil is ready for a new planting. What are you going to plant here? The father asks. Youll see. One of those books you just cant put down. Even those first few chapters were difficult for me, I am a father too. The love for your children makes you want to do only the best for them. Even when one of your children goes missing, youre not going to stop until you find the answer. A very intriguing and exciting story of people who are struggling with their faith. Ive offered this book to many other people I know, but they said they already read it.

> 3 dayI just have to say ⚠️**TRIGGER WARNING** ⚠️ ⚠️ Kidnapping ⚠️ Child death⚠️ As a father and his three children are on a camping trip, his family experiences a near drowning, when after he rescues one of his children, he is relieved to see that child is going to be okay. However, one of his children come up missing. (Kidnapped & SA & murdered). Filled with grief and anger and un forgiveness, family growing apart, he has lost his faith until receives a mysterious letter with no return address, asking him to return to where it all began. Filled with suspense, heartbreaking moments, laughter moments, this is one movie you must see. Though it isn’t 100% biblically accurate, this movie serves its purpose on topics of God, Jesus, family, forgiveness, letting go and allowing God to take charge, loss, grief, faith, loss of faith and regaining it. The Shack stirred up things in me I kept or tried to keep buried deep within myself for years but also showed me exactly where I was lacking and reminded me that everyone deserves forgiveness, not just for the one that has done me wrong but more importantly, myself. This movie is in my opinion appropriate for all ages 12 yrs and up. Staring Tim McGraw
