> 24 hourThis is a YA book for ALL ages. The storyline and strong characters grab you early on and carry you through a solid plot line that isnt transparent in the usual YA way. The ending leaves you feeling fulfilled, but still leaves you looking forward to the next installment. This book is new and fresh in an over saturated genre. The Twin Prophecies: Rebirth has all the makings for a exciting new series!

> 24 hourThis is a spectacular story that may be written for the YA crowd, but it has an intriguing story that anyone would find interesting and wrapped up in. Its very well written, the characters are developed nicely, and the attention to detail is phenomenal. Its a great start to a great adventure, and I look forward to losing myself in their further adventures.

> 24 hourNina Perezs character and scene development are strong. She makes it effortless for the reader to envision it all in their minds eye. The teens (a boy and girl) in this book are completely believable. Their thoughts, conversations and actions are current and very realistic. This is a must read for anyone who loves vampires, magic, witches and such. I appreciate that the female teen character in this book is not the must get the boy or die type. She is smart, strong, not too perfect and, in this readers opinion, a much better model for teen girls. This author leaves you yearning for the next installment!

> 24 hourAt first, I was worried this book was going to be another paranormal romance, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasnt at all. Its marketed for YA, but as a grown adult, I enjoyed it too. It only took two days to read it, because I could not put it down. Excellent book, especially for a debut author. I dont read a lot of fantasy, but the storyline was original to me. I saw it as sort of like Harry Potter meets the good parts of Twilight, with some fancy technology thrown in. The dialogue was natural, not annoying and unrealistic like a lot of other authors, and though its not meant to be a comedy, its got just enough jokes in just enough places. My only complaint about the book is that it wasnt long enough. I wanted more! Cant wait for the sequel.

> 24 hourLet me start out by saying, I can not believe that a major publishing house hasnt picked this book/series up! Twin Prophecies follows high school sophomores Violet Ross and Jack Morrow who are strangers until secrets begin to unfold that bring them together. They both struggle with abilities they have kept hidden from everyone around them. Violet is an empath, Jack can see the future when he touches people. As circumstances throw them together, they learn to trust one another and find they arent as alone as each of them had thought. Guided by prophecies predicting the end of the world, the mysterious Dr. Tesla - who leads an alliance of supernatural beings - helps Jack and Violet come to terms with this secret world, control the growing powers within them, and face an unspeakable evil determined to possess their very souls. When I first picked the book up and started reading I had my doubts. As I read the first page I thought to myself, oh no, shes going to describe the town and every little secret ever kept. Then I turned the page and nearly laughed out loud. I was hooked from that point on! This book is well written and flows easily from one scene to the next. Nina Perez did an outstanding job developing the story and has left me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for more!

> 24 hourIn a world of Harry Potter, Twilight and even True Blood...THIS book stands out. It is all of the mystical beings that woke us from dreams as children, written in a witty intelligent way that has not been done before. The reader does not get sidetracked by gratuitous violence or sex. Instead we the readers are pulled into the pages and could visualize what was happening on the pages like an Ominmax movie in our brains. The characters are well written, and in a way that you want to...HAVE to know what happens next. ALL of them, not just the main characters. I am eagerly waiting for what happens next to Violet and Jack (and everyone else) Thank You Ms. Perez for writing a book that not only I, but my children enjoy equally.

> 24 hourI am out of order with chronological releases since I read the Sharing Spaces series first, then Blog it Out Bitch, and now this one. Every time I read a book written by Nina they get better and better for me. I love her writing style. I fall right into the rhythm, and just glide through each chapter. I am ready for the sequel to this book, for Lily in the Middle, and the sequel to Sharing Spaces RIGHT NOW! I adore Violet and Jack. I am very cautious about Ms. Sweet because you should never trust anyone named that nicely. Kalina is my favorite because vampires are awesome especially ones that wear leather. The is a great story and is family friendly for your teenager.

> 24 hourI found this book to be predictable and unoriginial. In this era of supernatural fiction it rang a little blah to me. Nothing too snazzy or new to add to the subject. Came off a bit cliche. Also, I found the book to be a bit slow and then POW! we get to the climax without much work-up. And the climax ended just as quickly as it began. I think Nina Perez has potentional and, with time, could be a great writer.

> 24 hourIts not often I read a fantasy book and enjoy it. When I first read the synopsis, I was a little worried that it was going to be `yet another vampire book. The calibre of the authoring makes this one a cut above the rest and I eagerly await the next instalment. I am recommending it to all my friends and they too are impatiently waiting for the next book to be written. The writing is superb. The author really excites the imagination, by transporting the reader to the world of the twins and the supernatural world they have been flung into. The book appeals both to young adults and adults, making it the perfect book to read and talk about together. I would recommend this book for any parent who wants to encourage their young adult to read.

> 24 hourThis novel captured my attention from my first sitting. The author depicted the two teenage protagonists as multi-layered people not the typical bratty teens. I enjoyed reading how each dealt with the circumstances handed to them. Super engaging book.
