> 3 dayThese are super easy to use. The colors are pretty fun. The lavender and the Aegean sea one dont show up super well next to the other colors though. Maybe if you let them soak longer than overnight. Otherwise these are good.

> 3 dayWe used this for a class project and got through at least 25 shirts and one large sweatshirt. I recommend doing a vinegar soak to secure the depth of the color. We didnt and shirts were lighter than hoped for.

Greater than one weekSet includes everything you need and when used on 100% cotton items (shirts, pillowcases) resulted in beautiful dark vivid colors. However the colors do not look like the pictures on the box, they were much much darker. Also, bottles are small, so the entire bottle is used on one item/shirt. You are given powder to make two bottles of each color.

> 3 dayI bought this kit as one of my COVID-19 stay at home projects. Half the dye powder comes in the bottles and the other half is in packets. I used first half to dye the shirts pictured (4 adult tees, 2 adult tanks, and 2 kids’ tees) and will be giving the rest to my sister. I probably could have stretched it further but I applied generous amounts of dye to ensure the colors were vibrant (and they are!). As recommended by others I purchased a pound of soda ash separately and soaked the shirts in it for 20 minutes before dying. I also let the dye set overnight instead of the 6-8 hours instructed. My technique could use some work but I’m pretty happy with the results!

> 3 dayMy little sister wanted tie dye clothes for her birthday and was bummed we couldnt go anywhere. We had a tie dye party at home and it worked great! We just used the powders to ice dye and everything turned out great! The colors are vibrant and the pattern looks great too. Ice dyeing definitely uses more dye per item, but none of us needed a ton of stuff so it was great for our purposes. We soaked our items in a dye fixative after which I think helped with keeping the colors bright & defined.
