Vacuum Bare Surface Canister Floor Brush, Compatible with Kenmore

Great product

I owned one of these for 20 years until it finally wore out. These are the best shaped attachment for hard surfaces I have come across. The brushes on the bottom are in the right places physics-wise to make sense to vacuum anything from pet hair to small leaves. I bought one for inside the house for the Mexican pavers & hardwood floors and bought a 2nd one for the cement garage floor. They last years and years. Im going to buy 2 more to last the rest of my life in case they stop making them.

I have been using these for 20 years, buying new ones as the bristles on the old ones wear out. I use them in the house and in the garage. On this latest purchase, the holes in the handle socket are in the wrong position, which doesnt really matter much because my pipe can also be a friction fit, but the friction fit is a little on the loose side as well compared to earlier versions, but still functional. I just dont know how a product that has been around for so long can get screwed up by the manufacturer. Anyway, my solution was to remove the bristles from the new unit and use them to replace the bristles in the old head. Heres how: take a wide, flat blade screwdriver and put it in the end of a long edge near a corner. Pry the plastic back from over the corner to get one corner free, then repeat on the adjacent short edge. Once two corners are free, the bristles will lift out and you can put them into your old head using the same procedure. If you are having difficulty, soak the whole thing in a bucket of hot water for a few minutes to soften the plastic.

Bare floor attachment works with Kenmore and has several short stiff brush strips to gather dirt . Actual suction area is 8.5 wide, so a little narrow but will fit in narrow areas. The tube where it attaches to the vacuum has 2 holes to fit different wand configurations and does swivel for sweeping at different angles. All in all, a well-designed tool..

I needed a replacement for my 20 year old Kenmore progessive canister, this is like a factory replacement part and fits perfectly.

This is the second one I’ve purchased. The product works well, but it’s cheap and the rotating joint breaks after a while. But, the price and fit make is a good buy, but be prepared to buy one again next year.

This is absolutely awesome! Fit perfectly. Made more sturdy than the original floor brush that came with the vacuum. It does have two different holes available but the extra hole made little difference. I just snapped the brush in place. Fit like a glove! Nice brushes. I very seldom write reviews but was so pleasantly surprised that this brush worked and cost less than $10 I wanted to let other shoppers know this brush is for real!

The local store wanted almost 40.00 for this, 25.00 for a metal one…. This fits works well and was a better value!
