> 3 dayI use this for gaming and it’s fantastic! My GPU needs an upgrade but it’s a true 240hz monitor. For $300 it’s pretty worth it. Compared to most out there, this is highly worth the money. The monitor has great picture quality and a bunch of setting you can mess with for the perfect setup. One thing i did notice is that the Display Port cord it comes with, is the best option to get that 240hz. I tried an hdmi and it didn’t seem to to recognize the 240 and capped at 119.9hz.

> 3 daySo I want everyone to know I was very hesitant to buy this monitor, but I had two Dell 27 Gaming monitors that were trash so I needed something comparable that wasnt $400 because once you go 1440p 144hz theres no going back... well I got the box unpacked everything, the stand was sturdy from what I could tell but I had a vesa mount for multi-monitor setup so I didnt use it. I turned my PC on and I was BLOWN AWAY. The color reproduction is just so good, its very vibrant and feel more true to the tone than my Dells ever were. Then I activated the overclocking for 180hz and while it was a pain in the ass it wasnt impossible to figure out just by muddling with the menu. Its packed with all kinds of useless gamer features like a cross hair and timers which are cool but I dont know that anyone would ever use them. Lastly there was one major flaw with the monitor which I didnt find out about until coming home in the dead of night and getting on my PC. Here I am sitting in low ambient lighting and I turn my monitor on to be BLINDED BY THE LIGHT OF A THOUSAND SUNS!!! The Viotek logo appears centered upon a white screen and turning it on is akin to pulling the pin on a flashbang directly in front of you and watching it go boom. My wife who wasnt even in direct contact with the monitor winced in pure agony... Beware the wrath of the logo...

> 3 dayMonitor had black screen upon opening package and plugging in. Several hours spent changing display settings and using different display cables/updating drivers to no avail. This model of monitor is faulty. If you read other reviews that arent bots saying best monitor ever youll see almost every review on the the monitor and subsequent replacement monitors all stop working within 4 to 12 months of purchase or dont work at all to begin with. Amazon should not be carrying and/or promoting faulty merchandise or the companies producing said merchandise.

17-12-2024Honestly I didnt expect much out of a monitor that has the specs of a monitor that should be twice if not three times as much. But this thing is amazing to use! Out of the box settings do need to be tweaked. Not gonna lie there. But after setting it all up, this thing looks amazing, is beyond super smooth, and can be overclocked! I definitely recommend this monitor. 10 out of 10!

> 3 dayGood luck figuring out the settings on this one. The product manual has no useful information, the website has even less. When I reached out to customer service for any kind of help I got a we dont have that information. I guess thats a kinder way of putting IDK LOL, but equally useless. On top of that the picture is smeary as all get out when trying to push high framerates on PC. Works ok in 120Hz on my Xbox one. But thats not why you buy a 240Hz monitor. Spend a little more and dont give VIOTEK your money since they dont even understand how their own product works.

> 3 dayI bought this for work as a software engineer and for gaming. Pros so far: I like the menu options that the monitor has. It is very easy to navigate. The design is very sleek. Cons so far: -The screen flickers(screen goes black for a full second and then returns to normal after). It flickers at a minimum of 5 times a minute, but I have had times when it happens around 20 times a minute. -The screws that keep the monitor on the mount were very tight. One of the screws were stripped (I am using the monitor for a dual setup, so I had to put it on my mount). -The package was very beat up when it arrived. It was in a large box with about a foot of free space to get shook around in. The inner box was also beat up. I was however surprised that there werent any scratches or VISIBLE damage when I unboxed the monitor, so that was nice. I am expecting the company works with me to get this fixed. I will share how the customer service goes as I receive it. Edit: I sent back the monitor. Another monitor came in a box that looked like it was stabbed with a spear. Oddly enough, the monitor was not damaged. It works fine. If I was to buy another monitor, it would not be this one simply because the way the packages arrive. The box was shredded both times. The first time there was no packing bubbles. Long story short, it works, but arrived in terrible conditions.
