Easy to set up. Long battery life. Good sound & picture. Helped me keep an elderly lady safe.

Does everything I need it to, and does it pretty well. I didnt buy it for a baby or anything, and I bought it used, but its doing pretty well so far. The bad: 1. TINY camera angle. Even zoomed out, you get a really narrow field of view and have to pan around to see more than just a babys worth of space. Might be a good thing considering how low-res the camera is, though. 2. The camera isnt very good, though I guess its okay for the price. If youre watching for tiny movements like breathing, good luck. Framerates awful, though I suppose thats not exactly a high-priority. Also the exposure is pretty bad too, if theres anything bright in the view, youre blind, and dark colors in general are pretty much gone. Still, good enough, its not an F, more like a D+ or so. 3. Night vision is finicky, I really wish it was a toggle. Its not great at detecting when to switch. If you have the camera in a lit room and the light is turned off, theres a pretty good chance it wont turn on night vision until youve panned the camera a little to kinda remind it to switch. 4. I wish there were more settings to mess with, its pretty basic. 5. The zoom function and the speaker volume settings are buried in the setting menus, I wish they were buttons for easier access. The good: 1. The infrared night vision sees perfectly well, even in pitch-black rooms. 2. The battery life for the screen is about where its advertised at, surprisingly. Ran a test for like 16 hours and still had plenty of battery left, even though I dont plan to unplug it very often. 3. Wide, wide angle to tilt and pan the camera, even a bit TOO much for a baby monitor. Makes me wonder if its a repurposed security camera or something, ha. 4. The thermometers kinda cool, Im sure some moms out there probably have used it to save a kid or two after forgetting to close a window or something. I THINK the thermometer is accurate? 5. Havent tested it yet, but if the screen has a range of 1000ft, thats great, it means I should be able to carry it anywhere in the house or the yard without losing signal. Everywhere I HAVE taken it in the house works, though. Should try carrying it while mowing the lawn or something.

Overall the monitor works great! Better than the previous one that we had for sure. My one complaint is that the screen unit would have been designed better, so that it would stand on the counter. It seems that 9/10 times I stand it on a surface that it falls over. It’s barely balanced, so that it has to be carefully and perfectly set up to be able to stand (which is hard to do with a baby). Other than that, works great!

This camera system is great! I had an off brand camera for the last year and while it did its job, it was seriously lacking compared to this! The pan and tilt on this camera is amazing, I can see my daughters whole room no problem. I can also hear every little noise she makes, and even her dad snoring in the other room. I mounted the camera on the wall above her crib where I had my previous camera. My ONLY issue is the camera has a very short cord. So keeping her from being able to grab the cord took some creativity. Since I mounted it upside down the controls are backwards, which isnt a big deal. I just hold the patent unit upside down and can pan and move the camera however I need to. The old camera I had averaged about 2 hours battery life when I first purchased it, this I have had going for over 7 hours and it is only down one bar of battery. I only recieved this camera yesterday but I am thoroughly impressed so far. It has a much smaller screen but I am perfectly okay with that.

I really like this monitor, but every once in a while it will just refuse to connect to the camera. This happens mostly when the room is both light and dark. Its like the camera gets stuck trying to decide between night vision and color vision. Its a pain because you have to go in the kids room and turn the camera on and off to get it working. Other than that its great. I really like that it has a temperature function. My kids room is sometimes hotter or colder than other rooms so its nice to see if a window needs to be opened or if the heater needs to be turned up. Also note, this version CANNOT be expanded to 2 cameras. I found this out the hard way and wish Id purchased the one with 2 cameras.

This works fine but video quality is pretty bad and audio is terrible. Can hardly hear my baby if I’m holding the screen up to my ear. Returning for something higher quality and less expensive.

We bought this as a second monitor for our nanny share. For the price it does everything you need it to. I like the full range of motion, we use this when we travel and its easy to set up anywhere, you can always get a good view. Since its so small its also easy to pack. Battery life is also very good, our nanny uses it just for naps and it lasts at least a week between charges. Downsides are the controls are kind of finicky - to turn the sound all the way off you have to use a lot more buttons than seems necessary. The down/up arrows sometimes get reversed and you have to push them just right to get it to do what you want. Obviously the screen is small so picture is not amazing, but it works to tell if the kid is awake or asleep. May be a better view if you mount it, we always have it sitting somewhere since we move it so much.

You get what you pay for - by no means is this an expensive top of the line video baby monitor, but it has all the same bells and whistles but at budget quality. I am not disappointed in the slightest. It works. It’s not connected to the internet. It has good range. My only two critique are for future developers and not customers: camera range tilting down is a little ‘meh’ and the mic sensitivity is also a little ‘meh’. I can usually hear my LO holler from down the hall a second or two before the screen lights up. Neither of these things are really a big deal for me. This video monitor gets the job done and it didn’t break the bank!

This monitor works great. We have the camera in the kids treehouse and the monitor in our home. I can see and hear clearly to assure safety. It also plays music and the camera can be moved by the monitor to see different directions. Furtherest distance is roughly 500 feet and no issues with transmission

I use this to keep an eye on my goats before delivery. My wifi doesnt reach the barn, so this was one of the few options I had. Im just about at the 1000 foot mark, but it sends the picture just fine. Night vision is great, I can hear everything (although maybe a second or two delayed), and I dont have to bundle up to check on the girls at 2am! Easily worth the money.
