> 3 dayI bought this looking at the supposed read and write speeds being a blazing 5K write speed. Turns out it cant reach 3.5k speeds making it only a slight step up from my old drive. I dont see how this isnt just false advertising by putting a little * next to the speed since the Samsung NMVE that runs at these speeds sells for 10 dollars less then this one.

> 3 dayFast little drive, using it as a secondary drive on an Acer Nitro 5. Getting in the 4000s on speed.

> 3 dayI bought a $350 laptop off of eBay that included a 1tb hdd. Restart took 1.5 minutes. After I installed the sn770 drive, the restart took 25 seconds. Its the first time in my life Ive used Windows at such a fast speed. It is almost comparable to my tab S8 ultra android tablet. Now I use the old 1tb as a backup drive and run main functions and apps of the new SSD. This drive is unbelievable.

> 3 daynever achieved 5,150MB/s read also far from 4900MB/s write. False advertising but still fast and yes I am using PCIe 4x4.

> 3 dayI bought this drive to upgrade an existing SATA Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD from 2015. Mostly I wanted more space, but I did expect it to be faster. My system is an i5-6600K on an ASRock Z170 Extreme4. That means the nvme is PCI Express 3.0, not 4.0, so my benchmarks are probably not listing the full capabilities of the drive. Also in my screenshot I ran only single-threaded tests, with multi-threaded you can really exercise the parallel capabilities of the drive and its even faster.

> 3 dayGrabbed this for a new Alienware M17 R5 laptop I just received. It supports two M.2 SSDs and I wanted another drive for the games and Oculus programs to install to rather than having them on the main system SSD.

> 3 dayEasy to install. It does not come with a clamping screw. The indicated read and write speeds are correct.

> 3 dayIn fan-cooled OWC Thunderbolt-4 enclosure, the write speed that started at the Thunderbolt single-lane maximum of 750MB/s had degraded to 350MB/s after the first 500GB, and all the way down to 250MB/s toward the end of the bulk data transfer from another NVMe source. Its long past time for NVMe vendors to disclose their SUSTAINED write speeds, and their thermal throttling characteristics. Most of the marketing puffery around burst-read and burst-write speeds that use caches in the NVMe modules dont represent the real world. This module is like most others, which have all shown similar limitations.
