Bought this specifically for my Ps5 was running out of space. It was really easy to install you only need a couple of tools and about 10 min spare time. Highly recommend this specific model if you need extra storage for your Ps5

As the title says, the 4tb type of this drive appears to arrive in single AND double-sided versions. I didnt opt to return mine since this drive is ridiculously fast. I dont like that WD did a bait-and-switch with this disk. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior. Every review appears to show the 4TB version as single-sided with only a few lone dissenters. For the price, WD should make it evident what version you are purchasing instead of having incorrect marketing materials.

Installation was very simple. Probably a 10 minute job. I opted for the Sabrent heat sink versus the WD version. It’s less expensive that the WD heat sink and I feel is a better solution. Speed is great from this 2T SSD. Highly recommend both products!

This was the easiest memory to install yet. I was able to do this within a few minutes. I was able to store all of my games to this Drive.

Like most people who play games, whether it be from PC or console, are a true gamer knows the importance Ive read and write speeds. After much research on various websites and YouTube content I settled on this item. For me and had the best speeds for gaming. I actually bought two of these. One for my gaming PC and the other for my PlayStation 5. Both of which have not let me down one bit. I would recommend got you get a heat sink. More power means more heat. I could not change any settings on my PlayStation 5. I basically had to let it do what it does. However, on my PC there is an option 4 gaming mode. This increases the read write speeds from its typical 3500 read write up to 7000. I have to be a wizard to know that this dramatically shortens your load up time. Im sure some of you can remember all of those first generation consoles and gaming PCs. This is a definite upgrade for anybody wanting to add to their gaming Arsenal. I would highly suggest to do your own research and take out a few YouTube videos on this particular product. Dont forget the heat sink.

The drive is extremely fast. The heatsink does keep it cool. My only complaint is why cant anyone include a dang screw, whether its the computer mfg or the ssd mfg someone please include a screw!

Extremely fast. Works perfectly with PS5, slightly faster than internal SSD. Buy heatsink separately and you will save a few hundred dollars (the heatsink-included version is currently overpriced due to high demand likely because of Sony releasing the SSD expansion firmware recently). This is a VERY fast SSD.
