> 3 dayDoes this drive work? I have no idea because it didnt come with the screw you need to install it into the spacer on your motherboard, so after an extra $7 for an m.2 screw kit and several days more of delay and frustration maybe Ill find out.

Greater than one weekI wanted to like this drive, a heat sink for anything electronic should be win/win. But, this unit is HUGE! It won’t fit all the way down in its mounting bay of my ASUS ROG 17” notebook’s NVMe bay (see pics). It may fit in a desktop slot but there may be size issues there as well, this thing is bigger than standard drives in all respects except for the length. The performance is great, no argument there at all. But trying to get this to fit in the M.2 bay causes the unit to bend up in the middle way too much. It is impossible to put the shield/cover on top of this beast and it causes the bottom main cover to bulge out. My OEM M.2 boot drive has no heat sink but I never saw it show up in HW Monitor as overheating. So, back it goes and I’ll get a few $s back to go with the size reduction. Hopefully 2 drives in the small enclosed M.2 drive won’t cause heat issues as I feared, there is no way for any air to circulate throughout the little enclosure.

Greater than one weekI am a little concerned. Ive heard a lot of people say this one has gone out on them down the line. Hoping that doesnt happen. So far it works fine. Fast speeds, nice space.

> 3 dayWD Black SN850 500 GB... Well, i spent more $ to get this fast SSD. Its the same as the others just more expensive. I ran this on a new 11th gen intel 11400 cpu with a new Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite m/b Corsair 3200 ram, with all the drivers in win10. Temp was 102F to start and went as high as 127F after the 6th run, has m/b heatshield. Updated firmware Ver. 613000WD with WD dash and game mode on. Buy a 1TB SSD that is just as fast as this for the same $. Sorry WD.

> 3 dayWas easy to install and worked like a charm. My only gripe was that it was too expensive especially for the one that came with a heat sink. That was a ridiculous $400 mark up that I resolved using a $15 heat sink that worked just as well. Otherwise, I think it was a good investment. Need a 4 tb option with the same quality as this one and not so prohibitively expensive that it would break the bank...lol

> 3 dayGreat hard drive! Nice to have another 2 gigs of storage for my ps5, and loading times are pretty good. Idk if it’s as fast as the onboard storage, but still pretty fast. Would recommend it for a ps5. Was also easy to install.

> 3 dayReceived my order a week early - I know thats as much about the carrier as the seller, but still, I appreciate them filling it immediately. :) I was REALLY nervous about opening up my PS5 because while Im not a total computer-phobe, Im not that handy. But, after reading that games cannot be played natively from external storage on PS5, I just felt like I had to give it a go. This product could not be simpler to install. Plenty of helpful videos on YouTube. The cover of the PS5 is not as hard to take off as I feared, theres already a heatsink attached, and this is really about as close to plug and play as you can get for internal. Very happy!

> 3 dayAs others have done, I picked this SSD for my PS5. Digital downloads are becoming more common and game sizes much larger. I do not like to wait for a game to download only to play it for a while and have to uninstall when I need room for another. This is a must have for people who purchase a lot of digital content rather than physical, or anyone with the PS5 digital. This is especially true if you have slower internet and want to keep your digial games on your system in case you want to go back and play them.

> 3 dayDont get me wrong, this is a fantastic drive BUT, it ships with older firmware that will cause trouble on some new builds which prevents you from installing windows on the drive. You have update the firmware BEFORE installing windows which can be problematic if you intended on this being your OS drive for a new build.
