As I hear about its basic functions I used it after buy from Amazon. As I heard its performance great. I think motherboard also factor. As a hardware technician I recommend use B360 M Gaming HD or higher. I used it. Because lower motherboard may problem accept nvme ssd I found few problem with other low motherboard like 250, 290, 310 like series.

I know that Western Digital has a good reputation on Hard Disk drives, so while seeking for an M2 drive i found that This WD drive has a good performance and its price is more accessible, which allowed me to get it for my personal rig.

Not the fastest SSD on the market, but surely reliable and with great performance.

I installed the ssd as a secondary drive to hold all my games and it has more than enough space and when playing I do not notice any lagging like the original drive my computer came with. Only thing I will say is that when I first connected it did not show up automatically but after a reboot it showed up.

It is so refreshing to see hard drives finally becoming what they ought to be, big versions of flash drives. No moving parts. For so long, the SSDs had to have the same box format as the a hard disk with disks and a motor. Easy to install. It did arrive unformatted, and that added a few seconds.

I installed this in an Intel NUC Kit NUC8i3BEH thats runs Sparky Linux. I use for streaming and for various other light duties like surfing, text editing, light programming. The NUC stays on 24/7 and so far no issues. I cant speak to its relative speed but my experience with the Linux boot and performance has been good. The NUC has 16GB of RAM.

Ordered it Monday, got it in less than 48 hours. Took the cover off the laptop, slid it right in, screwed it down. Powered up (Thought I have to screw around with BIOS, but no!)
