Okay so I’m not someone who does huge transfer rates, I just wanted my windows to be a smidge snappier, this done the trick.

Fast and cheap can’t go wrong

I installed this in an Intel NUC Kit NUC8i3BEH thats runs Sparky Linux. I use for streaming and for various other light duties like surfing, text editing, light programming. The NUC stays on 24/7 and so far no issues. I cant speak to its relative speed but my experience with the Linux boot and performance has been good. The NUC has 16GB of RAM.

To be upfront, I currently have a pair of these as a read cache in my NAS, set to use less than half their max capacity to preserve both speed as well as longevity. Theyre doing fine in this role, and I honestly dont expect much of them, as the NAS is only connected over a 1gbe connection.

This is my second of these drives. I would add a third if my board supported another nvme slot. Super fast. Stays pretty cool. Great price for a 1tb nvme.

1TB, incredibly fast file transfers and loading times, easy to install, great deal! Absolutely recommend!

I use this with a portable USB case, its compact, fast and larger capacity than my laptop
