Bought this for my first build and works great no issues.(games played)

The SN570 really perked up my wifes Inspiron 3493, replacing a 250 GB SATA SSD. As seen in other reviews, it benchmarks well over 3000 MBps reads and writes on CrystalDiskMark, nearly 10x the old SATA SSD. I purchased and did not install a heatsink, but weve had no problems with heat or performance per the WD Dashboard. If a heat problem crops up later, we can address the problem. Theres not a lot of vertical space in the 3493s case, so we went with copper nano thermal pads.

I never really got to try it out because I received a defective unit that almost killed my mobo. Took 14+ hours of painful troubleshooting to finally get the machine to turn on again. Of all the storage upgrades Ive done Ive never had that happen before.

I did not realize my value laptop had such a small hard drive until I tried transferring my data to it. The manufacture wanted 3x the amount of the laptop to expand my hard drive. Little research and education, this was the perfect upgrade. A required tool was needed as this was a replacement not an addition. Hardest part was removing the manufacture installed screw for the stock hard drive. Otherwise, simple and easy to install.

Llevo 1 mes de uso, en todos los programas y juegos que le he instalado se ha comportado muy bien, tiene muy buen rendimiento. Es fácil de instalar lo único es que si en la laptop o PC, no tiene el tornillo para fijarla se tendrá que comprar dicho tornillo, en mi caso no tuve problema porque mi laptop ya tenía dicho componente.

This 1TB Western Digital internal M.2 SSD replaced my old Axiom 128GB SSD running my Windows 11 OS flawlessly. Easy to install, make sure you add a heat sink if you have a GPU close to it. Even if you dont, I would still add one. Excellent upgrade, highly recommended.
