16-12-2024I thought for sure a WD blue or black drive would be perfectly fine and trustworthy to have a dram cache. Not only is this drive dram cashless, but the 500gb model only has 1 single nand chip on it. I will be sure to not blindly trust a company based on past performances. Seems ever since they purchased SanDisk... Things have gone downhill somewhat. Drive tested well enough when mostly empty, but cant even imagine how poorly it would be once it fills up more. Makes this no different than a cheap name drive.

Greater than one weekI have bought and installed several of these in my offices computers as an affordable upgrade to users systems that previously had HDDs. Crazy simple to install, and they last forever. Keep cranking these out, WD, and keep them affordable. Occasionally you find them a little cheaper at the local electronics blue shirt store, and they price match. Usually Amazon wins though.

Greater than one weekInstalled the 2TB SN750 NVMe to replace a four 1TB HDD RAID array, removing those HDDs from the case made the computer so silent its eerie, only after the HDDs were removed that we realized how loud their humm was.

Greater than one weekNot much to say here. Boringly reliable. Easy to install. Far faster than an old school mechanical drive. Solid value.

> 3 dayUse this Nvme ssd with my external enclosure. Copying large files are very quick. But guess copying many small files are still pretty slow.

> 3 dayRecently purchased an Acer Aspire 5, with Ryzen 3 CPU, and wanted an SSD upgrade. Have used WD SSDs before on other laptop upgrades and they performed well. This 250 GB module was easily cloned and installed. Everything working fine.

> 3 daydidnt come with instructions so just googled it and watched a quick youtube video for the actual setup. the install was a cakewalk, took the back of my asus tuf a15 off, slipped this guy in, put the screw in the hold it in place then closed it back up. the actual setup was quite simple and now i have a second ssd drive of 1tb.... ill probably never use that much space but why not have it? simple and quick upgrade that doesnt take a pro to do
