Winsor and Newton is one of the best painting companies, Winton Oil colors have the right amount of thickness, colors are beautiful, low odor, arent as oily as other cheap oil colors, but if you prefer an oily texture, you can always add some linseed oil or poppy oil, i rather thick oil colors because i can decide how to use it, and it doesnt happen with more liquid ones. Just of the tubes came a little broked, nothing too big or messy. Highly recommend it if you are a begginer, amateur or veteran, you will not regret buying this amazing colors.

A cheap tube of paint - Winton is the low grade version that Winsor and Newton make. Be aware that you do NOT use to paint with - use only artist grade oils. The only use I have for this cheap paint is to cover a canvas that already had a picture on it so that I could reuse the canvas. I would never use it in my actual painting. Like all cheap oil paints this lacks strong pigmentation and does not cover well. As I said only use to repaint a used canvas so you have a white ground to start a new painting on. Do not mix with Artists Oils colors it does not mix well and will degrade your painting.

This paint made me look like a pro. I recently started painting with oil and the Ivory Black is a must.For me the student grade called winton is perfect, I like its good body and stiffness. It handles well and the tube is really packed and easy to fold and crimp. I was pleasantly surprised by this product and will definitely buy more. You cant go wrong with Winsor and Newton.

The Winton Oil Paint has lasted a long amount of time. im glad I bought this. I think it was about a year ago that I bought this , and I still have some left over to use in some of my painting. it uses a small amount because its a very pigmented and smooth, easy to blend color. I cannot find any cons, except that its a bit on the pricey side for just one color.
