Im a former custom garage door installer. My doors are 12 years old and were due for some new tires. I generally run bearing rollers for durability, but they tend to collect dirt and metal in the bearing, resulting in bearing wear and noise. These rollers have great initial friction and are fairly well sealed. Should get good life out of them. Recommendation/Installation Tips- Hire a Professional, but if you insist... NEVER REMOVE THE BOTTOM BRACKET, the one that the cable attaches to, it can remove your eyeballs. Unplug your opener anytime you change a roller. To change the bottom rollers, open the door half-way, loosen middle of track and maneuver the track by twisting it to get the roller out. You can pull the bottom panel towards you just enough to change the roller. Reset the track. For the remainder, you can lower the door completely and remove hinges one at a time. Only change one roller at a time, otherwise the door may fall out of the opening. - Install at your own risk, I assume no responsibility as this does not constitute as training or permission. Wear gloves and eye protection.

Easy to replace. Very quiet. Roll super. Very pleased with the new rollers. Huge upgrade from the original from 30 years ago.

Super quiet, great value

These rollers are a LOT quieter than the original ones with plastic wheels and steel bushings. The ball bearing wheels run much smoother, and the urethane tires really cut down track noise.
