The blue rollers are more wear resistant than white, I’ve worked with both plastics in the past. You will get a light noise reduction, metal rollers vs plastic on a metal track, but nothing major. I needed new rollers and these worked well. As for noise, the majority is from the door vibration as it rises and lowers. If you truly want to reduce noise change to a belt driven door lift. They are the smoothest and quietest currently available.

My old door opener died. It was incredibly noisey. The new unit is virtually silent. Since my door is 15 years old I figured I would replace the old steel rollers. Wow what a difference. The door is virtually silent now with only minor creaking when opening or closing. Its so quiet now we open the garage door before our dogs notice. Before you could hear it all through the house. I cant believe I waited so long to do the upgrade.

The rollers themselves don’t make noise if any for now. The installation on my garage door was okay except for the bottom rollers which have the tension of the cables pulling on them, it was a challenge. And, they helped in reducing the noise of my garage door a 20%, that’s it. I wish it was more.

These rollers are well made and very easy to install. My garage doors were installed back in 1986. Unfortunately, the current rollers were all metal, worn, and very noisy. These new rollers has made an extremely nice change. The garage door now moves up & down quietly, smooth and no more rocking sideways with the channel. I will be ordering another set for my other garage door.

These wheels were very easy to install. Simply grease the axle with white grease (that way the raised garage door doesnt drip thin grease onto your vehicle). Also, dont forget to grease the metal joints between the garage panels. Finish by whipping all of the extra grease discharged by the grease canister. The initial noise reduction was noticable, and it got even better as the grease made itself comfortable in the wheel axels and hinges. The blue wheels are a pleasing addition!

These are better than the white rollers that are on sale through Amazon. The original set I purchased half of the rollers were crooked/bent. They installed easily. All I did was unbolt 1 hinge at a time to replace the roller. No need to bend the track.

These rollers are an excellent product. They replaced my old rollers that had so much play in the wheels that the garage door kept falling out of its track. Very well made and reduced my garage door noise substantially. The installation was easy for a do it your-selfer...

these are nice and quite and closed bearing. easy to replace and should last awhile.
