> 24 hourMy son liked this bag for high school but the zipper has broken after 13 mths. So its durability leaves much to be desired.

> 24 hourI ordered the back pack for a trip that I am going to take in the summer time, so at this point I can attest to how much stuff fits in it. What I can say is that this thing it huge, has lots of room, lots of packets to be able to carry all of the things I will need on the plane, I’m travelling with an 8 year old and with a 9 month old. The back pack appears to be very sturdy and hopefully very durable, the straps are nice and thick and the padding is super soft on my shoulders. Looking forward to using it in a few months.

> 24 hourThis is just about a stitch for stitch copy of a Swissgear SA1753, with an extra pocket in the middle section and a slightly different configuration at the top. That different design at the top makes a great deal of difference in the durability of the bag. I had the Swissgear bag for almost 4 years, but had a couple bits of the stitching come out early on... easily repaired. This bag has had no movement on the stitching, despite regularly carrying 4 laptops with power supplies, etc. totaling 37 lbs. The fabric has been more durable and better overall quality. Its also slightly cheaper. This is the rare case of the copy improving on the original.

> 24 hourThis backpack is so well constructed, I couldnt BELIEVE how well constructed it is. Its a beautiful backpack. Its the kind of workmanship/craftsmanship that you dont really expect anymore when so many things are cheaply made. I bought this backpack to replace one that I had had for over 10 years. I retired from teaching after 20 years to go back to college to get my masters in communication. I needed a backpack that would stand up to the pressures of college life. I needed a backpack that would carry my new laptop safely PLUS all the other gear that I would need to cart to campus every day. I dont live on campus. I take the bus and I do a lot of walking. The backpack seemed perfect. It had enough compartments and zippered places to store all of my books, folders, and all the other things I had to bring with me. Since I dont live on campus and were subject to weather/temperature changes here in Hawaii, I also needed changes of clothing. This backpack fit IT ALL! Which... made it way too heavy for me to carry. Im 54 and when the backpack was fully loaded, it was too heavy for me to carry. The shoulder straps covered most of my chest, making it difficult to breathe. The bag by itself is heavier than Im used to, but when I put all my stuff in it, the combined weight caused my back/joint problems to flare up. I was SO disappointed. I REALLY wanted to keep this bag, so I tested it out for a month to see if I could get used to the weight. I could not. I contacted the company and explained all that and asked if they had a smaller bag with similar construction. They were WONDERFUL. I got an IMMEDIATE answer (on a weekend) expressing regret that the bag was contributing to back problems and how they really wanted to help make the situation better and to my liking. We ended up exchanging a few emails as they made a suggestion for a replacement bag. Both people that responded to my lengthy emails were gracious and helpful. I was SURPRISED at JUST how helpful they were. And even when I eventually had to return it, they were STILL being incredibly warm and helpful. You dont see that kind of customer service which is why Im rating the backpack so high. I do not think its a good backpack for young children or smaller/smallish women... but for people used to carrying heavier loads it would be PERFECT. I could also see it being a really good travel backpack even if you werent carrying a laptop. If they EVER come up with a smaller, lighter backpack... Id be the first person in line to buy it!

> 24 hourI purchased this a year ago haul my 17MBP, cables, and assorted computer stuff, along with any travel needs. It has functioned well, with no rips or tearing in spite of some rather heavy abuse at times. The top carry handle, which gets most of the abuse, seems as good as new. It held my (sadly now retired) 17 laptop with a bit of room to spare. The aux battery pocket is large enough to take my large battery. The number of pockets, placement, and access allows me to carry in a (relatively, for me) organized way all the accessories I need to use, and there is still enough room for a few days worth of clothing and a toiletry kit when on the road. Overall a very nice bag.

> 24 hourI bought this as a school backpack for my son. He has destroyed every backpack he has owned and they are always stuffed to capacity. This has held up to being packed full and lugged around school for four months. It is still just like new!

> 24 hourI have been using this bag for one year and now its still intact and performs perfect job. It can really carry a LOT of staff and the separate storage for laptop can protect the laptop really well. It is a really quality backpack and worth the money.

> 24 hourMultiple specialized storage compartments. Hold a 4-cell 18650 battery pack in an internal side pocket with external USB port for recharging about any personal electronic device. Unfolds for quick TSA screening, as advertised. One suggestion for improvement: Black on black with black zippers is somewhat confusing for opening the correct compartment the first time. Used Multicolor heat shrink tubing to color code the dual zippers on each compartment. Adding a short colored cord lanyard also helps identifying the right zipper for each compartment. Not only new carry on, but also goes to the office with me on a daily basis now. (Best man-purse ever?). Dont care - its a great bag/backpack for most any purpose.
