16-04-2025I just used this tool for the first time a few minutes ago to make a hole in a main line tube (1/2 Toro Blue Stripe) and insert a small tube with a drip head. 1. The hole puncher worked very well. It so easily punched a hole that I advise to be careful you dont punch out the other side. A few careful back and forth movements with a bit of pressure, and you have your hole. Also, the tip is sharp. Dont poke a hole in your finger and save the protective cap the tool comes with. 2. The other end made it very easy to insert the drip line into the hole. I know some people said they had problems with this, but I just threaded the line in like it showed in the video, put a finger or thumb over the open edge of the channel the line goes in, and inserted the line into the hole at very slightly off 90 degrees with a bit of pressure and a few back and forth movements. The tool seems well made. I highly recommend this product for maintaining your drip system.

> 3 dayThe hole-punch end of this tool is awesome! The other end that’s supposed to help you install the small fittings into larger tubing is not as nice. It really only works if you have 1/4” tubing already attached to one side of the fitting and the fitting slips out of the tool really easily if you use moderate amounts of pressure because of the angle of the handle.

> 3 dayIn process of getting everything ready for installation of drip irrigation system, found my new system doesn’t use this tool. Gonna keep it as I like it and might find another use …. HANDY FARM DEVISE

> 3 dayI wanted to upgrade my sprinklers for my flower bed on my new home. Installing a drip system is not rocket science so I bought this tool to assist in puncturing the hole in the main line. I use tools for a living so I can normally figure out how a tool functions and get it to work. Puncturing the line was not a problem, but when it came time to use the insertion part on the back of the tool the fitting kept slipping out. Maybe I was doing something wrong but after many attempts I just used my hands and force to do the job. There are other tools on the market for a little more money and if I attempt this again I will invest in a tool that is better for getting the fittings connected easier.

> 3 dayWho knew gardeners had special tools for adding lines to the drip system. This makes it so easy. I am so excited to find this. Just added some new lines and the holes were the right size and it was easy to get the pieces inserted. How cool is this!

> 3 dayThe handle makes punching holes easier but its not quite useful when it comes to inserting the line as the tool does not grip the very well.
