> 3 dayThe punch worked perfectly (thus the 3 stars), however the insertion tool did not work at all. When pushing the barb into tubing, the barb tended to slip off the holder as force was applied. I gave up and just used pliers to do the insertion, which was so much easier.

13-04-2025Hole punch works ok, at least while new. The insertion side is a clever concept and abysmal execution. It could have been a great tool if designed to hold the fitting upon insertion.

> 3 dayI wanted to upgrade my sprinklers for my flower bed on my new home. Installing a drip system is not rocket science so I bought this tool to assist in puncturing the hole in the main line. I use tools for a living so I can normally figure out how a tool functions and get it to work. Puncturing the line was not a problem, but when it came time to use the insertion part on the back of the tool the fitting kept slipping out. Maybe I was doing something wrong but after many attempts I just used my hands and force to do the job. There are other tools on the market for a little more money and if I attempt this again I will invest in a tool that is better for getting the fittings connected easier.

> 3 dayThis tool is very VERY sharp and goes right through the plastic. The other end makes it easy to put in your attachment
