My main reason for getting this was due to a weak signal for my Ring door bell. I also had very weak signal in one of our bedrooms, but I had procrastinated on that one for years. I joined the Ring to the new SSID and took each of our mobile devices into the dead zone bedroom and joined them to the new SSIDs as well. The signal strength is now excellent throughout all of these areas. Wireless signal strength is greatly affected by wood and even more so by glass and metal. I suggest placing this no more than 1 closed door or 1 interior wall away from your router if possible. When planning where to put it, pick the location that is most free from interference. Most of my plugs are behind or under furniture, so thats why the hallway was chosen.I would buy this again.

Great extension of my wireless. I have a man cave/office in my unattached garage about 100 feet away from my cable company supplied Wi-Fi modem. It actually was able to reach this but the signal without the extender but it was weak and often dropped the connection or slow speed. I installed this extender about 50 feet away. I now get great connectivity for my laptop. Now the signal is very well.

This extender was very easy to setup with our Apple Airport Extreme (which I had heard these types of products sometimes have difficulty getting along with each other). I unboxed and plugged the unit into the wall. Then I used the webpage setup to configure.

Love this extender. It is so pretty easy to just unplug and move. All you do is plug it in when you move it and it boots up in maybe a minute and is ready to go. My house is about 3300 square feet and we own 2 of these and they are great.

This is my second range extender/repeater. Let me preface my comments with a true story that I once deleted the complete MS office suite from my work computer because it said rarely used , the space it used was about a million gigantabites, and therefore logically it was probably slowing down my wi-fi connection. Insofar as performance, we went from one to two of those little wi-fi signal bars on the middle and top floors of our split level to full on 5, just like sitting next to the router or modem or whatever its called.Seriously, if I can set this up, literally anyone can. Literally. And, it works.

Works great. Took me 10 minutes to setup via browser. I now have full signal to my smart TV in the basement.The network speeds are also faster than my old router alone. I am able to stream high bit rate videos to the smart TV from my phone now effortlessly. On my old router it would continually buffer, even if it had good signal.Highly recommended.

Follow the directions and it will work well. You cant just snag a Wi-Fi signal out of cyber space. You must first sync the Range Extender to a Wi-Fi router which means you have to gain access to the router.

Works well. 1 small issue is sometimes my phone gets confused when switching from original router to this relay. Doesnt happen often and a quick on/off on the phone wifi resets and fixes the connection. Otherwise works very well.
