Anthem, Consumer Advocate Great idea to cool your stereo or live sound equipment. Automatic function is great; will automatically kick on when needed. Is indeed quiet and helps with wear and tear on hot equipment. Only criticism is the price. Well made, however, you are paying for what it does, not how its made or the materials its made from.

I have a nice Dennon A/V amp in a cabinet below my TV that always worried me it would get too hot. Adding this fan on top of it now vents hot air out the doors (because the cabinet is now positively pressurized) and the temperature is way cooler. Very quiet, I dont even notice it on especially due to the thermostat control of the fans. I HIGHLY recommend this for any closed or semi-closed installations.

Suddenly began getting messages about the Directv receiver over-heating.. Didnt even know they made these things, but I bought one and inserted it between the Directv box and the stereo receiver, and, walla, overheating message is gone. Thing is really quiet - you dont even hear it running. Great purchase so far!!

This thing is awesome. Was a perfect size for my receiver. Its super quiet and I love the auto feature, i dont have to be worried about turning it on.

Just as advertised auto thermostat works great.. Moves air around. People seem to want a refrigeration unit. I only run it at level 2 its pretty quit.

I hate it when people start off their reviews with I really wanted to love this but... Hello? If you didnt want to love it then you wouldnt have bought it in the first place. I dont know anyone who buys something knowing theyre going to hate it.

I bought this for my Marantz SR7011 and I never thought about cooling my receiver. I have had an Integra for 10 years and never used any fans for cooling. I noticed my Marantz did get really warm and looked into getting a cooling system. Searched the forums and found AC infinity and this product and does what it says it will do. Fans are quiet and really keeps the receiver cool to the touch. The build quality is top notch and very sturdy. The packaging and presentation is all top quality stuff you would except from a product that charges three times the price. I wish I had got the model with digital display because the internal tempaeratures for this one is between 84-88 and sometimes I wish I could go a little bit cooler because even though it keeps its to 84 the internals are still warmer then the outside temperature of 84. Otherwise looks beautiful and fits perfect on my Marantz. Highly recommended.

Just awesome. Very thin profile, quiet and does a great job. Neither receiver or amp get warm now.

given all of the great reviews i purchased three s9 units for my av equipment, unfortunately when the fans arrived i quickly discovered that the large surface area of the fan chassis, the large surface area that does not actually contain fans, covers far too many vent holes of every piece of equipment i own.

Love this unit; performs as advertised. Did not know how hot my Pioneer Elite A/V amp was getting but am happy to see the AC Infinity kick on frequently. Would definitely buy again and highly recommend it to others.
