AC Infinity AIRCOM T8, Quiet Cooling Blower Fan System 17 Rear-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

This is one fantastic Product as it is beautifully made, extremely easy to install and works fabulously. It has dramatically reduced the running temperature of my 110 Watt amplifier. I could not be happier with this product.

The AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 has a lot of important features so that the cooling is effective for my situation. It is used on top of the often hot running Denon X6700H to exhaust out of the back of a partially open back closed cabinet. It is augmented with another inward blowing AC Infinity fan that is plugged into the Aircom T8. In my situation it runs about 65 percent of the time and it is noisier than I would like. In spite of the completely closed front wood/glass cabinet, it can be heard during quiet music or movies. If you must have AVR cooling to protect your electronic equipment, I would recommend this unit.

So far so great I love this product

The top of my AV processor used to heat up and peak around 91-92°F. With the T8 on top, the temperature started at 80°F with a fan speed at 1 and peaked at 85°F with the fan speed at 2. When the listening room was quiet at 33dB, the fans were barely audible at their low speed of 1 from my listening position 15.5 feet away. Fan speed 2 started getting a bit distracting. Overall, this performance was good, but not great. 4 star rating at this point; not quite 5. So I did a few tweaks:

The T8 is a bit quieter than my original S9, which developed a very noisy fan after 2 years and 10 months. Not as much airflow (smaller fans) on the T8 but the bigger ones on the S9 were overkill anyway on my Marantz SR7012. I also added 1/2 adhesive weather stripping between the Marantz and AIRCOM for 100% sealed flow between the units - works perfectly! The T8 rear exhaust was a also better solution than the top exhaust in my open-air application. I did read comments about the display brightness so I had a plan to add a grey filter when ordering. Very satisfied with my purchase and customer service.

Great product, easy to set up. Not as quite as I expected but once I move my track to the closet it wont matter. I highly recommend.

Pros:

It has a smart mode that knows when to come on and off on its own.

Overall the unit works great but it is far from quiet and the temp sensor is off by 10 degrees. Fortunately our AV cabinet has glass doors so the sound doesnt end up bothering us.

My husband likes this very much. Impressed at how quiet it is. Delivery was very prompt.
