> 3 dayI love these lights. I’m using them in my tiny camper build. You do not need a driver with these but you do want to connect them to a good quality dimmer. The recommended one runs about $30 Do not attempt to wire them in series / daisy chain. You need to wire them in parallel for them to work properly. I used Wago lever connectors for my connections. Makes it easy if you need to pull it apart for some reason. To each his/her own.

> 3 daySimple pop in lights with a good white crisp color, spring mounts worked perfectly. Used in hollow floating shelves for hidden lights. I used a led power supply to drive them.

> 3 dayInstalled these in my main bath above the tub/shower and toilet. Wife was skeptical and didnt think we needed additional light there but I persevered, liking the fact that a low voltage system requires less hardware and fewer precautions against overheating and electrical shocks than line voltage lighting. Used a separate power supply tucked behind an access panel and a special 12 volt dimmer mounted on the wall. We both love these lights. They look great and give the room an elegant feel. Installation was easy even though most of the wiring was done from below with the help of a straightened coat hanger. We liked the results so much that I installed similar lights, but higher lumen output, in the adjoining walk-in closet as the sole light source. If they last ten years without replacement, as I expect, they will have earned their stars.

> 3 dayBought these to replace the lights in a Magickwoods upper unit/medicine cabinet & mirror. The exisitng lights were not moisture or water resistant and the sockets corroded. They were low voltage 12V AC, so had to get a new transformer from AC to DC. I got a water proof one from here on amazon for $12. These light all together (4) use 12 watts of DC power, so I got one that is 30 watts. I did get some crimp waterproof butt connectors from advance auto that are for 20 gauge to extend the wires back to the transformer and reused wire from the old lights. Hooked them up together with the transformer with a water proof twist on. Put the lights in the cabinet with no modification to the spring flanges. Hooked the transformer up via hardwire to the power in the wall and it worked. These each give off a nice amount of light and the color of light is similar to a daylight bulb. I also made no modifications to the medicine cabinet to get these to fit either. I have posted an image of what the final looks like on here as well.

> 3 dayWe bought these lights to replace the stock halogen lights in our 2009 Winnebago View. They install fairly easily and appear to be about the same brightness/lumens as the halogens. A couple notes: While the light color temp (*K) is alright, they are not warm white (2,700 to 3,000 *K). They are a bit above that. They have none of the orange tint that an incandescent lamp has. They are clearly cooler than the halogens and my warm white LED flashlight. Still, they arent obnoxiously harsh either. I think most people will find their color temp OK, but thats subjective. We plan to keep them. The wire that the mounting clips are made from is very small gauge, very flimsy and flexible. It makes them a bit difficult to move into position prior to slipping them into the mounting holes, because they twist. Nothing has broken so far, but the mfr could increase the diameter of the wire. The spring tension itself is fine. By comparison, the lights in our range hood use much thicker wire for the clips (the spring tension is a bit higher as well). The aluminum body of the lights feels substantial and the light is well distributed. These lights solved a few problems for us: * They allowed us to replace the halogen lamps with LEDs of similar brightness (if slightly higher color temp). * We were able to replace the fixtures and lenses at the same time -- which was important since the stock fixtures were/are cheap and the lenses kept falling off. * Less energy use * Less heat generated. The halogens will literally burn you they get so hot. They actually melted chocolate in the cabinet above them! Its amazing what 10W can do. Bottom line, assuming they are reliable and long-lasting, they are a good buy.

> 3 dayProduct seems to be well made, but the weak point are the spring to hold the light in place. Be very careful with them. Put one spring on the side of the hole then gently put the other spring in place and then gently push up into the hole. I was glad to get away from halogen lighting. Hot, and a lot of bulb replacements necessary due to 12v power flucations. Will update if necessary, but very satisfied with the units up to now. Nice update over the couch in the motorhome.

Greater than one weekInstalled 4 in my 1990 chevy van conversion. More than enough light and put it on a dimmer switch. Works perfect! If you know how to crimp and connect wires youll be fine. Nothing youtube cant teach you

> 3 dayThese fit perfectly in the holes in by 2000 Beneteau. I only had to pull the old fixtures, disconnect the terminals, crimp new terminals on these fixtures and pop them in. They were a snug fit, but went in just fine. As has been noted elsewhere, the spring clips are fairly light, but seem perfectly adequate for the task. Its a bit of a change in appearance as these are more flush then the old glass dome/chrome ring, but once theyre in place no one will notice. And the old ones were starting to look pretty tired anyway. Over the years, Id replaced the halogen bulbs in the old fixtures with a couple of different generations of led bulbs - none of which ever were completely bright enough to suit me. I was looking at doing another round of replacements - but the bulbs are around $16 each. These fixtures were half the price and 2x as bright! The light color is excellent, and they are so bright that Ive paired them with the Acegoo dimmer since I wont want them at full power all the time. When considering dimmers, make sure you get one that works on just the + leg of the circuit - most 12v systems run a separate ground lead for the fixture that doesnt come back to the switch location. The Acegoo dimmer is one of the few that is designed like that.
