Great lights, but they get very hot for leds... make sure you leave an insulation gap above them, i did not and if i have them on high (installed a dimmer switch) they get hot to the touch after a few hours

These little lights replaced the old, prone-to overheating reading lights in my 2004 Fleetwood Southwind perfectly. Easy install with a simple wire splice and they look pretty good too.

I liked these enough, I ordered a second set for my van build. I returned another set from a different brand that had a different type of retention clip that I wasnt confident would be easy to work with once installed. These have a really flexible spring clip that Ive installed and removed a couple times without any issues and they still hold really well, but definitely handle with care because you could easily damage the springs. They have a somewhat warm white light, but definitely not yellowish. Perfect for ambient lighting. The wires are fragile and kind of a PITA to work with. Installing 4 lights on each parallel circuit on a dimmer switches so I can always make sure to use my solar judiciously.

Smaller than I expected, but will work perfect for my application.

It literally took longer to undo the wire nut connections to the old lights than to change to these LED replacements. Good warm white color and same brightness without the heavy current and heat.

I have these installed in my kitchen ceiling (18) run off a single LED driver, to a pwm dimmer switch. I could not be happier. They are holding up ( 6 months+), dim fantastically, are small. I WILL buy more.

Used to replace LED lights in a Cosmo range hood. Had to cut and splice connectors from original lights, but new lights fit perfectly and give desired brightness and light color. Very satisfied.

We bought these lights to replace the stock halogen lights in our 2009 Winnebago View. They install fairly easily and appear to be about the same brightness/lumens as the halogens. A couple notes: While the light color temp (*K) is alright, they are not warm white (2,700 to 3,000 *K). They are a bit above that. They have none of the orange tint that an incandescent lamp has. They are clearly cooler than the halogens and my warm white LED flashlight. Still, they arent obnoxiously harsh either. I think most people will find their color temp OK, but thats subjective. We plan to keep them. The wire that the mounting clips are made from is very small gauge, very flimsy and flexible. It makes them a bit difficult to move into position prior to slipping them into the mounting holes, because they twist. Nothing has broken so far, but the mfr could increase the diameter of the wire. The spring tension itself is fine. By comparison, the lights in our range hood use much thicker wire for the clips (the spring tension is a bit higher as well). The aluminum body of the lights feels substantial and the light is well distributed. These lights solved a few problems for us: * They allowed us to replace the halogen lamps with LEDs of similar brightness (if slightly higher color temp). * We were able to replace the fixtures and lenses at the same time -- which was important since the stock fixtures were/are cheap and the lenses kept falling off. * Less energy use * Less heat generated. The halogens will literally burn you they get so hot. They actually melted chocolate in the cabinet above them! Its amazing what 10W can do. Bottom line, assuming they are reliable and long-lasting, they are a good buy.

The lights are bright and install easy. I wish they were a little bigger though.
