I like the fact that it is difficult, not impossible to get malware, and can be easily cleaned if you know where to go. I had a continual popup and discovered that although the operating system didnt have a virus/adware/malware, the browser did. Once I figured this out I cleared browser history and it was gone. I do not really like the Chrome operating system, but I suppose I will get used to it. Really like the near non-existent virus/malware. No need for anti-virus. Everything is run in a sandbox.

We took our Chromebook on a long road trip and the battery lasted the entire trip and then some!

Late posting a review but wanted to share my experience with the product. I purchased the computer in July 2020. Two days after the warranty went out, it wouldnt turn on. I had to contact support. We finally got it working by hitting the refresh and power button. It worked correctly for a month after that. I contacted support again and they told me it probably has a dead battery. The battery didnt last a year.

Excellent for carry around in a purse or back pack

You can’t edit Microsoft Office 365 online, super frustrating! You cannot print from this device either!! So frustrating and worst purchase ever!! If you don’t need to edit or print then you might be just fine.

My daughter has had this laptop for 3 months and it has already stopped working. I am very disappointed as this was not only a school investment but an investment for her small business, as well. This really sucks.

I upgraded my tablet to this amazing computer because I didnt want to carry both around when it was no longer necessary. The processor makes this fast and it has impressive storage and graphics. The laptop is also sturdy and well-constructed while being lightweight. I am primarily working from home but when I have meetings, etc it is so nice to have everything right at my fingertips in this one dope computer. The convertible function is well-designed and touch screen is responsive. I love everything about it and it has become my primary mobile workstation!

My daughter has now been using this for about a month and it is working great and holds up well.

My child works in Canvas for her virtual school platform and this works well for her. It was well worth the money and this is the third Acer Chromebook we have in the family. We love them all!
