Ive been using 2 of these for about a year and a half, one display for gaming and the other for utility (movies, discord, streaming, etc) and Ive had nothing but good luck with them. You get exactly what you pay for, a 1ms 75hz gaming monitor. Be aware you will not get 75 fps unless you change your windows settings, it defaults to 60. As for the price I think its a great value for someone getting into pc GAMING anything other than that I would recommend a different type of monitor all together. But for right around 100$ this is a great quality monitor. The color is pretty good, nothing to write home about but it was pretty good in my opinion, just remember this is a 1080p monitor and nothing more, dont expect 4k resolution. I use an NVIDIA card so I cant speak on behalf of the AMD freesync settings. The monitor itself has built in presets for colors but I very rarely used them, I found one that worked for me and stuck with it. The built in speakers are pretty bad, sounds like its being produced in a tincan, I highly recommend a secondary speaker set or a headset (or both) but something like that is to be expected around this price point. The only time I had any issue with the monitor was when I turned off V-sync, while it increased my FPS dramatically the screen tearing was very pronounced but thats what happens to any monitor thats being given more information than it can handle. In conclusion this is a great valued monitor that I would recommend to anyone who is starting off in PC gaming but doesnt want to spend an arm and a leg on peripherals.

Ordered one from a competitor, Was a shame because this was a slightly better price than them. overall i have 3 for a gaming setup. pros: No dead, stuck or floating pixels Great color accuracy for the price point Solid price point for response time and 75Hz Decent connection options Almost no bezel on the tops and sides supports AMD free sync if you can use it Cons Alitter thicker for monitors built in power supply utilizing a standard 3 prong power cord ( kind of a pro but con because it makes this thicker than it could be Viewing angles arent fantastic

This monitor was a good deal and for the first 6 months it worked flawlessly, then it would not turn off after it was just turned on, so I unplugged it to turn off then it would not turn back on no matter what I did. So lucky me I purchased the Square Trade insurance, you would think that I got lucky, it was only $5 or so. I then filed a claim on the Square Trade website and was truthful when submitting it, then at the end after submitting the claim, the claim was then closed stating I needed to get with the manufacture because it was under a year. So much for great service. To make a long story short, Acer wanted me to pay to send it in for repair, at my cost, and was not satisfied that I had the original box to ship it in, they said that was not good enough, it had to be wrapped in at least 5 of bubble wrap. So if the original box was good enough to ship it to me when purchased why is it not good enough to send to them? Square Trade stated they would pay for the shipping to Acer but I needed to get an estimate, really! In conclusion, I would not buy this monitor or any high dollar electronics from Amazon and get the insurance. If it was purchased at Best Buy or Walmart I would have been home in a hour or so with a new monitor and never went thru this process. It is not worth all the time I spent on hold and chats (4 Hours) and still have to go get estimate, then chat again, then ship. It is just NOT worth it! Edited since this review gets a lot of hits. We just bought a new replacement monitor locally. And we’ve never bought the useless Square Trade insurance again.

A relatively inexpensive monitor (especially when on sale) that offers good picture quality and a fast refresh rate of 144hz. Pros: The screen is coated with a matte finish that helps to eliminate reflections 100 x 100 VESA holes for mounting an incorrectly named Black Boost feature (should have been named shadow boost) which increases visibility within shadows Easy to use front-facing controls for the very user-friendly OSD menu 1ms response time low blue light filter Cons: Tilt-only, No rotation or height adjustment TN panel looks good when sitting in front of it but viewing angles are limited. Also, if you plan on using this monitor for photo editing or creation using tools like Photoshop, I would recommend a comparable IPS display instead. TN panels suffer from color shifting which means the colors arent always uniform depending on the angle you are viewing. This is normal for TN panels and shouldnt affect gaming. 4-watt speakers are a joke and sound horrible. Free-sync only Overall, a great monitor especially for the price that allows for faster refresh rate gaming with good contrast that wont break your budget.

(KG251Q review) Over all this monitor is nice, for the price i got it for ($130). The refresh rate is a little low and 1ms response time is slightly unnecessary with the low htz. The bezel is a major selling point as it looks great but the color is very bad. On my monitor the black colors are Grey and nothing i do in the settings will fix it. I even have a professional color correction tool that did little to fix it after many attempts, but due to the TN panels used I think there is little that can be done. For the price it is a good monitor but it seems to have most of the worst of both worlds with a low refresh rate and TN panels. If you are looking for a gaming monitor I would look into something with a higher refresh rate, or go for a monitor with a IPS screen for better color.

Built in speakers are horrible. Resolution looks OK, but I have it next to a 5K iMac, so its got a lot to live up to lol. Response time is great when playing on my XBox. Only downfall is the speakers. Just pretend they arent there and use a headset.

Im pretty satisfied with this monitor. Its large, easy to setup, and has very good video quality. Easily compatible with my desktop computer, and simple to adjust the settings to get maximum quality with my games and programs. The only hitch about the monitor is that the speakers are pretty mediocre, with relatively low volume, and their positioning making it hard to hear voice audio. Would recommend grabbing speakers if you plan on grabbing this.

I am a small time streamer that needed a second monitor with 144hz to match my gpus capabilities. It does its job and noticed immediately the difference between 60hz and 144hz. Bought it due to its price and will hold onto even when I upgrade to a more powerful monitor in the future.

I ordered two of these and one came pretty decent quality and the other came as the same but a different monitor? One is more, how do i word this, bad quality as one is good, one is more stiff and the monitor feels straight as one the monitor starts skinnier at the bottom and as it goes to the top it gets wider, I would say buy this but I dont know the honest review, I mean again one came pretty alright for the price and one just came complete low quality and not that good.
