I would give 5 stars but my monitor came with 2 dead pixels. other than that it is perfect. Would have preferred display port instead of HDMI tho.

Make sure you have a strong enough graphics card to drive this. Works great if that is there!

I feel like some people just like to complain... I dont know. I have ZERO issues with the monitor, using the provided HDMI cable or a DisplayPort cable of my own. No flickering, no 8-bit color, no artifacts, no issues. I run it at 144hz on 1440p and its gold. There is only one issue, and its nit-picking so I didnt drop it a star or anything, but the screen has a black bar around the entire monitor. The bezel is non-existent, but it may as well have had a half inch bezel for the black dead screen that surrounds the whole thing. Again, its nit-picky, but I thought something was wrong with my GPU settings and I was trying to figure out why over scan wasnt solving the issue. Last thing, the speakers on this are bad, and thats by even crappy monitor speaker standards. Theyll get you through, if you just need some temporarily, but youd be better off with some $15 amazon basics laptop speakers than the ones on this monitor. Not a deal breaker, but worth bringing up.

This is a great monitor, I turned on Metro Exodus and my jaw dropped with how pretty everything was. If youre used to 1080 at 60hz youre really in for a treat. I have heard that the mount sucks but I never used it as I picked up a VESA mount that worked really well.

This is the first one I bought (5/2020). 2nd one I bought from another vendor (9/2021). I use it for work, photo editing, a little video work, and watching streaming services. Very happy with the monitors. I recently (1/2022) got a monitor tree to mount them to have them at a more ergonomic height. What vexed me is the VESA mounting hole werent all M4 threaded. On the Amazon monitor one hole wasnt M4 and Im pretty sure I cross threaded it getting the M4 screw in there. On the other monitor the bottom two holes I could not get M4 screws in at all. What worked were #6-32 3/4 screws. What the heck Acer? Somebodys manufacturing quality controls are off.

Seller sent me the VG271 model, not the VG271U model. VG271 model only has a max resolution of 1920x1080p, which is what I want to upgrade FROM. Extremely disappointed. Return in process.

This has great color accuracy, great picture quality. Gets REALLY bright if you need it to be. Controls are pretty simple, and refresh rate even goes up to 170
