Where to start, the Acer Helios 300 is probably one of the best laptops that you will ever find for the price. It arguably plays games at the level of a desktop PC. I have built desktops for quite some time and considering I traveling i had sold my current desktop and wanted to make a quick purchase for a laptop that could game , Modern Warfare, Overwatch, pub G and so on.

I did a lot of research, watching youtube videos, reading articles, trying to find the best gaming laptop for the $1,000. When I first saw the predator helios 300, I fell in love. I love the blue color and the sleek design of the laptop. I was amazed by the specs. Core i7 processor, GTX 1660ti, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd. I knew that this was the one.

We would have given this laptop five stars however it requires the addition of a card upgrade. This upgrade requires the general layperson doesn’t have the anti static strap or equipment to install it. We had to get someone with that equipment to perform the change. Should have been installed before the customer received it in my opinion. Other than that, we love it. Would purchase again.

Going from a first generation i7 quad core to a ninth generation hex core has been quite a leap forward and really enjoy the computer.

Works great as a gaming computer. The only concern is the price is expensive.

The value of this laptop cant be understated. There are no real weaknesses here. The only notable problems people may have with it are the fan noise while gaming and the lack of silent fan operation when not gaming. You wont notice the idle whirl of fans unless you are in a completely silent room with no music or headphones in play.

Fantastic gaming laptop! This is a huge improvement over the Acer Nitro laptop in every way. The 144 hz screen is incredible and it’s hard to go back to standard 60 hz displays after using it. You can push your mobile gaming to the limit but be aware the battery life is not great. The fans can also get extremely loud when playing graphic intensive games. This is a great middle point gaming laptop for anyone looking to game on the go!
