> 3 dayI got this gaming laptop for gaming purposes due to graphic cards being hard to get for a pc. Only complaint that I have is that I didn’t get a bigger screen other than that this thing runs great especially for apex

> 3 dayPaid ~$1300 for this on sale from $1800 and got a quality machine for the price. I mostly use it for MMO gaming -- Elder Scrolls Online and Final Fantasy XIV. I play some twitchier games like Warframe and Pinball.

> 3 dayFor the amount of money spent on this laptop, I was extremely disappointed. The display would constantly black out. Tried all the recommended work arounds that Acer has posted on their forums for this KNOWN issue. None of them lasted. I finally sent it back to Amazon and they graciously gave me a full refund. I would NOT recommend this laptop to anyone.

> 3 dayPlease be aware that you are likely to get a damage or broken new $3k computer like I did. For the price of the computer you would expect the build quality to be higher. The power plug looked weird like it was out of place. It was hard to plug into the power brick, which was a bad sign. Only the power brick was connected on the computer with only one place to plug it in. Turns out it won’t power on or charge despite being plugged in for hours (know good power outlet, tested with other devices with no issues). No lights on the computer either. I guess quality has gone down hill with the Predator line and the computer was returned the same day through Amazon.

> 3 dayThis slim and dense laptop packs a six core CPU that can turbo up to 5ghz, a 2070 super, and all the LEDs to light up a carnival into a laptop with a great screen. The heft and performance mean business, though the loud startup sound and fireworks display on the keyboard betrays a bit more whimsy. It can fill both niches nicely, as can it be a portable desktop replacement. I say portable, but at a very dense 5lbs (feels much heavier) and with a 4 hour battery life, its not a typical laptop. Between the low base CPU speed and the various max Q tricks used by the GPU, it can and does make sacrifices to allow for this portability. Most evident is the 230watt power pack, which is ridiculous for a laptop, but the GPU alone could draw more on the desktop, but upgradability is another issue.
