For the price of the computer, you would expect the build quality to be higher. Battery life is terrible. The screen gets scratched from the keyboard. The keyboard feel is gross. Had a keycap break within 1st month only way to replace it is to send the whole laptop in for 4-10 business days. It can run games well if you prop up the back with something. Otherwise, it gets way too hot.

My favorite laptop. It is incredibly powerful and can handle anything. The battery life is pretty short though without the charger.

Ive found its quite loud, even if Im just watching a movie the fans spin up quite a bit. Gaming they really lay it on, kind of annoying.

Acer Predator Helios 300 & Triton 500

I have been looking for a gaming laptop for a long time because I like to game on the go. To be completely honest I am a desktop gaming guy. Unfortunately, it is a pain to take it everyone and very impractical.

You will need a extra fan because the computer get too hot and the cooling fans dont keep it cool. After a year the power cord wont stay in the computer slot. very poor design

Pretty happy with the Acer Predator Triton 500, but really hate the keyboard light show at startup. Really annoying in a dark room. Seems to be no way to turn it off. Not in BIOS or anywhere else. Once logged in, it will use your settings, but not before.

Im big into computers and was excited to set this one up. After one month of use the computer crashes instantly. Battery overheats, wont charge, wont boot, COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
